Weaver: Not going to engage in a process where the only time we have debates is when Clinton feels

under pressure.

Sanders Counters Clinton’s Debate Challenge With His Own
January 28th

"Bernie Sanders sees Hillary Clinton’s challenge, and is raising the stakes in their race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

A day after Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, urged Sanders to participate in a proposed, unsanctioned debate next week, the Vermont senator, her closest rival, fired back with a call for more debates.

.....Clinton’s call for more debate opportunities is relatively new, and comes as the race in Iowa has appreciably tightened and as Sanders passed her in New Hampshire polling.

....."From the beginning of this campaign Sen. Sanders has called for more debates. Secretary Clinton has not,” Weaver said in a statement. “Now she is asking to change the rules to schedule a debate next week that is not sanctioned by the DNC. Why is that? The answer is obvious. The dynamics of the race have changed and Sen. Sanders has significant momentum.”

Remember when the divisiveness began on DU, I do, it was spring/summer of 2014...

with posts that stated 'old white males should just fade away' and give way to a younger generation.

Afterwards it changed to more of a racial divide and 'not good enough Bernie' it did not matter that Sanders was on the front lines for equality, that was just glossed over.

Kudos to Black Men for Bernie for going out there and confronting the issue and taking a stance against the negativity and racial bias, last I read they are in Philly, then NY and across the country to California.

Problem is the younger generation is not as constrained by parties, they look at issues above fighting for a label, so the general election will have less willing soldiers/participants to go along with what the establishment would like to see.

But the idea of separating people, be they older white males, racial minorities or gender preference needs to be acknowledged and pushed back as a reason to support or deny their chance to survive in our nation.

We all need to strive for a better world and not segment people by some false sense of equality, but seek common ground on issues where we agree upon.

Thank you! Bernie Sanders, Automation, and the Fate of the US, this is an excellent essay that ...

should make us all think, just skimmed through it, but put the title in the header for my reference

Not sure why this was not kicked, discussed more days ago, but too many good threads sink.

Hillary events since Tuesday, where is she ...

who has she been meeting with and why is she not meeting with people.

She skipped the meeting criminal justice reform forum held by BET back in November to fundraise, where is she now?
