Sen. Mitch McConnell: Will Dems work with us, or simply put partisan politics ahead of the country?

Last Tuesday I was proud to see that the American people voted keep Republicans in control of the U.S. Senate. But we also learned that, come January, the Republican Senate majority will be dealing with a House of Representatives under Democratic control.

Needless to say, the past two years of unified Republican government will be remembered as a period of historic productivity.

Online, Gavin McInnes is the gung ho, ex-punk leader of a hate group who rails against liberal decadence. At home in his wealthy, New York suburb, he’s upset that liberals won’t accept him.

“I blame [George] Soros for all of this,” McInnes said during a September broadcast of Infowars, where he bemoaned what he claimed was his supposedly degraded social status. “Soros is terrorizing me and trying to shut down my fraternal club, the Proud Boys. And he’s paying people to mess with my life, and spread these lies about me, spread fake news.”

After months of high-profile street fights by the Proud Boys, neighbors in McInnes’ upscale town are starting to take notice of who exactly moved next door.

A local man at a country club mocked McInnes for being involved with Infowars and tried to sabotage McInnes’ application to the club, he claimed in the September broadcast. One of his daughter’s tutors allegedly stopped working for the family, citing McInnes’ politics. In a June broadcast, he claimed to have got into an altercation with a neighbor and kicked the man’s dog.

Gavin McInnes showed up to work at CRTV with a black eye on Monday, explaining to viewers that he had gotten into a violent altercation with someone he said “looked kind of Hispanic” and did not respond to his demands in English to pick up dog poop.

During Monday’s episode of “Get Off My Lawn,” McInnes said that he was in New York last weekend and became outraged when a stranger let their labradoodle leave “human size feces” near a park where children play. McInnes said that he became angry enough that he violently confronted the man.

“I went over to him and I said, ‘You’re going to pick that up, right?’ and he said absolutely nothing. So I thought—he looked kind of Hispanic—I thought maybe he doesn’t speak English. And I said, ‘Let me rephrase’—I was pretty eloquent, I’ve got to say, wait until you hear my final line—I said, ‘Let me rephrase that. You’re going to pick that up,’” McInnes told viewers.

He said he got closer to the man and became more aggressive in his demands that the man picks up the dog poop before eventually yelling at the man and shoving him. According to the story, the man’s dog didn’t appreciate the physical attack on its owner and began barking at McInnes, to which McInnes responded by kicking the dog.
