Contrary to what we had been told, once we got into the Sistine Chapel, we were allowed a very brief moment to take some pictures. This is the only one I was quick enough to get:

Our tour is officially over, but when we found out that we wouldn't be going to Pisa, we decided to see it on our own...

The builders of the various buildings weren't above stealing marble from old buildings to save on costs. Here's an example of some cannibalized marble in the church:

Unfortunately, I was forbidden to take any picture inside, so I missed photographing Michelangelo's David, among other statues...
