There was a time when Michelle Backman was seen as too nuts and I think encouraged not to run for the GOP again. Instead of avoiding the obviously morally if not otherwise crazy these days, they flood the airways with it at every level. Trump taught them there was an appetite for that. Growing the crazy instead of slowing it is the obvious plan.
Maybe ALEC is pro monopoly. They seemed to not complain when corporate concentration grows,
due to private equity, and prices mysteriously go up. Maybe corporate concentration is a feature of this law they are pushing: penalizing WOKE banks and business who want to invest green. Why corporate concentration creates more oligarchs. Just as the far right tries to grow the very rich and fold the middle class into the working poor by increasing inequality (check), so might they want to punish financially and weaken the power of banks that keep their humanity? Make all the good eggs poor. Elevate the ***holes in any way they can (have you seen who is in the House these days?).

Someone making $7.50 an hour, part-time, at two jobs, is not paying into ss as much as a union worker from 40 years ago. So there is that too. The only way to fix that is to reverse inequality and create good union jobs for more people.
Corporations have been hiring asshole bosses to up efficiency and
reduce confidence in employees so they'll not get 'uppity' and form a union. They kiss up and kick down to drive people for little pay all so CEOs make an extra few million in bonuses.I think DeSantis may just remind people off the bad boss they worked under.
Calling for Biden to admit to being "Woke" is a GOP strategy to build
a broad brush slur on liberals. Biden should say he is a liberal. That has already solid meaning. The GOP, and the likes of DeSantis, have not finished shoving uncomfortable things into the "Woke" basket. It is not settled. I was called Woke a year ago and I liked it. But this word has now taken on Swift Boat Veterans for Truth arc. Not true that 7 year old children of Woke parents get taught Critical Race Theory or the ins and outs of lgbtq intimacy but it is in the Woke basket anyhow. Lies. And a successful label, like SBVT was. It sunk Kerry.

Fox News are like offensive linemen ready to sack any democratic politician or figure who could possibly connect with their base. Lots of women have been assaulted. Many women are being targeted. Not a crime to report it. Why people might feel sorry for them in great numbers. Reminds me of how they attacked Paul Pelosi after he was attacked. They can't leave the citizens to form their own opinions of events. Goes to how hard they have to work to maintain the bubble their voters are in. Or maybe how masogyny is something to be cultivated and not suffer backlashes against as it is the new wedge to replace the gun and abortion wedges that no longer function so well for the GOP. Why a pattern may immerge if these events are left unmolested. And then suburban women, who the GOP covet so much, and the people who love all women, may vote Democratic.

Seconds after President Joe Biden finished his State of the Union Address, his predecessor Donald Trump responded with a furious rant.
"Here's the real State of the Union," the former president wrote. "Over the past two years under Biden, millions and millions of illegal aliens from 160 different countries have stormed across our Southern border. Drug cartels are now raking in billions of dollars from smuggling poison to kill our people and to kill our children. Savage killers, rapists and violent criminals are being released from jail to continue their crime wave and under Biden the murder rate has reached the highest in the history of our country."
Trump then attacked the Justice Department, baselessly claiming he is a target of political persecution.
"Joe Biden's weaponized Justice Department, and I'm a victim of it, is persecuting his political opponents," wrote Trump. "His administration is waging war on free speech. The Oligarchs with their hedge fund need new investment that is available to them when small and
medium sized businesses tank in a recession or financial crisis. There are too little investment opportunities for hedge funds and private equity: the stock market is overpriced, the bond market ha! and they have already moved into real estate and distorted that market. They take over the business and grow it into a monopoly or part of an oligarchy and that is how hedge funds or private equity make their huge profits. They morph a whole industry. I would assume the US Chamber of Commerce does not have everything in common with oligarchs, and the opportunities financial distress by not raising the debt limit would create for oligarchs. Environmental and other issues too divide them too.
