Weird malathion on cannabis story
https://www.kob.com/new-mexico/new-mexico-cannabis-manufacturer-files-lawsuit-against-cannabis-control-division/Cant make this up. State does not test cannabis for Malathion as Malathion is illegal in NM. So you can sue the state because your cannabis crop passed the state pesticide test even though it was sprayed with malathion. Only mention this because in the 90s the state sometimes sprayed malathion for mosquitoes out of a truck down the streets & malathion can cause reactive airway disease causing trouble breathing among other side effects
Iran Says the Deadly Israeli Strike in Damascus Will Not Go Unanswered
As war escalates, many worry for our troops.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Irans supreme leader, said Israel would be punished for the strike, which killed three top commanders.
The strike, on part of the Iranian Embassy complex in Damascus, killed three generals in Irans Quds Force and four other officers, making it one of the deadliest attacks of the yearslong shadow war between Israel and Iran.
In a statement, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Irans supreme leader, vowed that Israel would be punished by the hands of our brave men.
President Ebrahim Raisi of Iran said the attack was an inhumane assault in brazen violation of international law, in comments reported by Tasnim, a semiofficial news agency. He added that it would not go unanswered, but gave no details of how Iran might respond.

World Central Kitchen Says U.S. Citizen Among 7 Staff Killed in 'Targeted' Triple Israeli Attack
A dual U.S.-Canadian citizen was among seven food aid workers killed in an Israeli military strike on a humanitarian convoy in Gaza, the World Central Kitchen said Tuesday.
Haaretz reported that the convoy of vehicles, which had coordinated its route through a demilitarized zone with the Israel Defense Forces, was hit three times in succession until the aid workers were all killed. After the first strike, survivors reportedly sought shelter in the other vehicles which were then targeted.
The attack late Monday, which the IDF says is being investigated, struck as the vehicles were leaving a warehouse in central Gaza, WCK said in a statement. The food charity founded by celebrity chef José Andrés said its other staff members killed in the strike were from Australia, the United Kingdom, and Poland. https://www.yahoo.com/news/world-central-kitchen-says-u-113228149.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly9kdWNrZHVja2dvLmNvbS8&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAKeUX_qtmh8WrqxlnZZ-8IeDB11-Im7BNda1xrkK17LwOqVyhyQVVw5DF4wnfqqceDF6ouxMNRdZemBFpSV9isQii5ijcQF5NZgob9g6tUk51_czR_YEobLx7TnKEilyCigwvTqEYxRfHtD5ByUD35UdlM9CIIWX8ADhLSnnO-njNo
Netanyahu Cancels Washington Delegation Visit After U.S. Abstains From U.N. Cease-Fire Vote
TOPLINE Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu canceled a planned Israeli delegation visit to Washington D.C.as he had threatened to dojust minutes after the United Nations Security Council passed a cease-fire resolution on Monday that the U.S. refused to veto
The U.S. abstained from Mondays resolution vote, which passed with 14 member states voting in favor and called for a cease-fire during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, as well as the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages and access for humanitarian aid into Gaza.
In a series of tweets, the prime ministers office argued the U.S. had abandoned its policy of explicitly linking a cease-fire to the release of hostages, and for that reason, Netanyahu decided that the delegation will remain in Israel.https://www.forbes.com/sites/brianbushard/2024/03/25/netanyahu-cancels-washington-delegation-visit-after-us-abstains-from-un-cease-fire-vote/?sh=3b2b85ca7339
Biden administration gauges Israeli compliance with laws of war
A group of 17 Democratic senators is calling on the Biden administration to reject Israels claims that it is not violating international law by restricting humanitarian aid amid a growing debate in Washington over whether the United States should suspend arms transfers to the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The State Department last week received Israels written assurances that its use of U.S.-supplied weapons in the Gaza war has not violated international or U.S. laws in its conduct of the war and protection of civilians, including the provision of sufficient aid.

Sex hormones could be key to treating long COVID
A new study by a prominent team of researchers from the Yale School of Medicine and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai has found that women with long COVID had significantly lower levels of testosterone compared to those who had recovered from their infection. That difference seems to driving certain symptoms female patients experience more often and more severely than male patients, such as headaches, hair loss, muscle pain and memory issues.
Low testosterone in women was also associated with elevated levels of distinct immune cells, as well as signs that dormant viruses had been reactivated. While the researchers found that men with long COVID had lower levels of estradiol (indicative of low testosterone), their symptoms were less burdensome and different immune cells were activated.
The findings make clear that hormones deserve much more attention as scientists search for answers to why and how this often-debilitating condition manifests.

Analysis | Hezbollah Has Harmed Israel's North With Far More Than Rockets, as Escalation Brews
The relentless exchange of fire between Israeli forces and Hezbollah in the north forced a surreal reality on residents of Israel's northernmost
communities, many of whom remain displaced from their homes. 'We don't know anything about where we go from here. The army isn't giving us answers,' says one kibbutz member.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the plan envisions 15 sites containing 25,000 tents each across Gaza, running from the southern edge of Gaza City down to the Al Mawasi area north of Rafah.
Israel has presented the plan to Egypt in recent days, the report said.
Citing Egyptian officials, the WSJ report said that Israel expects the camps, which would include medical facilities, to be funded by the US and Arab partners.
