About Me

Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieve it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night. Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. ~~~~~~~~~ For, it ends in the blink of an eye. Carpe Diem (Seize the day)!

Time slips away ...

... and counting

The memo never arrived! Today was Hatch Day.

We have either two or three baby diamond doves hatched since dawn this morning.

The reason I say two or three is:

The ground nest had one broken egg yesterday. The second egg hatched today.

The other nest is about 8 inches from the top of their cage. Yesterday, it has two sound eggs. I know one hatched. It's going to take more observation time to see if we have two babies in the upper nest.

Oh yeah! Am Not!

Every spring for 15 years we put the bird feeders out in the morning.

And took the feeders in at night. Usually that was enough.
Of course there were mid to late afternoon bear visits in early spring/summer.
Bears will do whatever they feel like doing.

There are 4 or 5 helmets in my living room gathering dust until spring.

Oh yeah! I rode my trike in the snow this week.
