Two years after a severe hurricane hit the west coast of Florida, I rented a garden apartment in Lighthouse Point. During the storm, the roof was torn off the building. I was the second tenent to rent the lovely one bedroom apt on the first floor.

When Monday rolled around, I called the realtor. I informed them my next release would be in their office if something wasn't done asap.

Who knew that rats like to nibble on faux suede when there was bird seed available.
