In_The_Wind's JournalLocal TopsMarkets seems to be overcharging for 7 UP. What do you think?
$7.69 for a six pack of 12 ounce bottles.Schweppes Ginger Ale was only $4.99 for the same size.
The store is located in New Paltz, NY. It's a college town. The neighborhood is a mix of older (well maintained) homes, new homes, several apartment complexes.
The only other supermarket in town is ShopRite. In an on line search, ShopRite doesn't seem to carry 7 UP six packs.
I still have my receipt because I'm considering calling in a complaint for price gouging.

Six Little Stories With Lots Of Meaning
(1) Once all villagers decided to pray for rain. On the day of the prayer, all of the people gathered, but only one boy came with an umbrella. That is faith.

NY Coronavirus Peak Higher Than Thought; May Be 2 Weeks Away
Cuomo gave a grim update Tuesday, saying the peak number of coronavirus cases could be two weeks away the peak is higher than expected.
NEW YORK, NY The peak number of cases of the new coronavirus is expected to be higher than initially thought and could be just two weeks away far earlier than initially predicted, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced in a grim update Tuesday. Cuomo said as many as 140,000 hospital beds will be needed, he said, noting the rate of spread is doubling every three days. The state currently has closer to 50,000 hospital beds.
"I will turn this state upside down to get the number of beds we need," he said.

Coronavirus: Cuomo Outlines 'Stay At Home' Rules
NEW YORK, NY All New Yorkers who are not considered essential workers were ordered by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to stay home and not report to work as of 8 p.m. Sunday. He said this was the most drastic action he could take, after first reducing the nonessential workforce by 50 percent and then 75 percent.
"These actions will cause disruption," Cuomo said Friday at a news conference. "They will cause businesses to close, will cause employees to stay at home."
The governor signed the order in an effort to help slow the spread of the new coronavirus. There were 2,950 additional coronavirus cases in New York State as of Friday morning, bringing the statewide total to 7,102. There were new cases in 23 counties.
Cuomo emphasized that this was a statewide order made solely by him, not a county executive or a mayor.
