I have an equal opportunity cat tormentor.

The cat on the bottom - the silver and black tabby keeps chasing and tormenting my maine coon kitten.

So what I did was buy a colar with a bell for my silver tabby. Though it doesn't stop the tormenting, it gives my maine coon ample warning she's coming after her.

What to do with 5lbs of chedder cheese?

It says here not to freeze cheese as it can break down the molecular structure. I'm the only one who will eat cheese soup - though my roomate loves chedder cheese.

Emails Suggest Ohio’s New Republican-Friendly Maps Save the GOP ‘Millions’

As we’ve been documenting in our ongoing series, political parties and other powerful players use the once-a-decade redistricting process to advance their own goals—often at the expense of voters.

A recently released trove of e-mails from Ohio offers a rare inside glimpse into how it works.

The e-mails, sent from June to September, show collaboration between the national GOP and state Republicans to re-draw Ohio’s map and thus cement control of both the statehouse and a majority of congressional districts.

In one of the emails, a Republican consultant working on redistricting for the state suggested that the new political maps could save the GOP “millions” of dollars in campaign funds by making districts safer for Republican candidates.

Barajas, who was sentenced Monday, was part of an operation that imported as much as 40 pounds of meth and 44 pounds of cocaine a week into the United States, prosecutors said.

Ex-Penn State coach Sandusky waives hearing

Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky opted against a preliminary hearing in his child molestation case, sparing his accusers from making their claims in a packed courtroom Tuesday but still vowing "to fight for four quarters" as he defends himself.

His decision to waive the hearing, though unexpected, is not unusual in Pennsylvania.

At the hearings, prosecutors must show that they have probable cause to bring the case to trial. Prosecutors in this case were expected to meet that relatively low bar, in part because the case been through a grand jury.

Sandusky has denied the allegations, which led to the departures of longtime Penn State football coach Joe Paterno and the university president. He is charged with more than 50 counts that accuse him of sexually abusing 10 boys over the span of 12 years.
