With all of those Christmas movies you produce, you're probably running out of ideas for new plots.
So how about some heartwarming films about Republicans bussing ill-clothed, penniless immigrants to cold climes on Christmas Eve?
Nuthin' says "good Christian values" like people who, given the chance, would have thrown Baby Jesus into the nearest snowbank - and cheered as he suffered and died from the cold.
In the meantime ...
While I am loathe to find joy in the suffering of others, when it comes to Donald Trump, I am happy to make an exception.
I know we here are hoping for indictments, for convictions, for prison doors being slammed shut, But we should not lose sight of the fact that Donald's real punishment has already begun - and in his mind, it is already worse than being locked in a cell.
He is alone - and terrified of what is to come. His loyal base is looking at DeSantis as their "new and improved" saviour, His big donors are skeptical about his viability as a 2024 candidate. His enablers are weighing whether to cooperate with those who want to put him in prison, or face prison time themselves. His biggest supporter, Ivanka, has made it clear that even she has had enough.
Donald has realized that the media that used to hang on his every word has moved on, rendering him increasingly irrelevant.
He has watched as the man he tried to intimidate, Zelsnskyy, is lauded as a hero. He has watched as judges he appointed have rendered decisions against him. He has watched as his NFT "trading cards" have become an international laugh-fest.
Donald J. Trump is a man who would rather spend the rest of his life in prison while being lauded by sycophants as a political martyr than live his life at Mara Lago as the butt of every humiliating joke the world over.
Trump's punishment has already begun - and I, for one, am savouring every minute of it.
Gotta give it to MTG ...
That's one brave woman.
She continues to spew hateful rhetoric - e.g. about Zelenskyy - despite knowing that every Jewish Space Laser on the planet is aimed at her, despite knowing that HRC's Gazpacho Police could grab her at any moment, and despite the possibility that some communist-loving lefty might attack her with some deadly virus they're grown in a peach-tree dish in the basement of the same DC pizza place that's used for sex-trafficking kids and cannibalizing babies.
Now is the time ...
... for all Republicans to get in the lifeboats and row away from the Trumptanic.

Shows up for work before noon-ish, fully rested because he wasn't up all night tweeting covfefe.
Spends working hours in the Oval Office instead of on the golf course.
Can read/understand his daily briefings without having to wait for them to be reproduced in colouring-book form.
Doesn't spend hours a day coming up with cutesy nicknames for his political adversaries.
No need to attend lengthy meetings to plot the overthrow of the government.
Doesn't require time to be spray-painted, and have a crop-circle arranged on the top of his head.
Never has to set aside time to write rousing speeches about toilets that require 12 to 15 flushes.
Doesn't spend the majority of every workday figuring out how to funnel gov't funds into his own pockets.
AND ...
Never has to waste time renegotiating a pre-nup with Dr. Jill in exchange for her agreeing to hold his hand in public.
To those advocating a Christian-run gov't ...
... you DO realize that adhering to the teachings of Christ would mean feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, caring for the sick, and welcoming the stranger?
Are all of you 'Christians' on-board with doing those things JC admonished his followers to do?
Yeah. I didn't think so.
Some Serving Suggestions ...
Instead of banning books, try reading one.
Instead of screaming about your Christian beliefs, try living up to them.
Instead of harassing Drag Queens, try dragging your sorry ass to the nearest charitable organization desperate for volunteers.
Instead of bitching about the high price of food, try working at a soup kitchen that feeds those who can't afford any food.
Instead of whining about same-sex marriages, try supporting people who love each other whether you approve or not.
Instead of thinking you're better than everyone else, try thinking in the first place.
Instead of worrying about how many brown people exist on the planet, try caring for the planet we all need in order to exist.
Instead of 'protecting' unborn fetuses, try protecting 10-year-old rape/incest victims from having to give birth.
Instead of running everyone else's life, try running your own life in a way that doesn't ruin the lives of others.

Brace yourselves, Republican voters ...
Now that the GOP has a majority in the House, everything is going to change for the better.
As soon as your reps start investigating Hunter Biden's laptop, gas prices will plummet.
As soon as they start investigating the J6 committee's findings, crime rates will drop to historic lows.
As soon as they investigate the real culprits behind the January 6th insurrection, inflation will be a thing of the past.
Everything you were promised by the GOP is about to be delivered - it just might be delayed, what with all those investigations being more important and all.
