Non-fiction Political Books (almost free!)I have a large collection of political non-fiction and humor that I would like to share with DUers. You only need to pay postage, at book rate, which is very reasonable. You can Pay-pal the postage. PM me if interested.*
Here are some of the authors and titles:
Suskind, The One Percent Doctrine
R.F. Kennedy Jr., Crimes Against Nature
the Wilsons, Fair Game; the Politics of Truth
Other authors: John Dean, Woodward, Michael Moore, Carville, Begala, Bugliosi, Palast, Franken, Ivins, Dowd, and many more.
*They are all in like-new condition (read once). A few are highlighted though. (Hey, what do you want for free? LOL )

A man from Chevron at my door today....
Our dumbass neighbor is allowing a gas well to go on his farm. I'm sick because there is nothing we can do about it.
I am trying to focus on the bright side.
I am happy to still have a good-paying job with benefits, especially at my age. I have two adult sons who are also self-supporting (at last!) No major financial problems, thanks to careful planning, living moderately and still having that good job. I am truly thankful for those blessings.
But we had a family tragedy this year that has just been too hard to accept. It totally took all joy out of the holidays for me. I'm not sure when I will feel "normal" again. I am just praying for some peace in the New Year. Just taking it one day at a time....
I am happy to kick 2011 to the curb.
And happy that the holidays are behind us now. I like January... no holidays!
Greater Johnstown Senior High School
It was a magnificent old structure. It was torn down a couple of decades ago, though.
