A "gratitude" adjustment:

I bet it will be Walker for VP.

Don't think it would be Rubio, since Jeb is from FL and not Christie, who would drive the Bushes crazy.

Toller Cranston has died.

Another source said it was likely a heart attack.

My sympathies to his many fans and to all fans of figure skating.

Just in: PA Supreme Court blocks action on Kane.

Pennsylvania court halts any action against attorney general

The Associated Press
HARRISBURG, Pa. Pennsylvania's high court has at least temporarily blocked a prosecutor from taking action on a grand jury recommendation that the attorney general be charged criminally in an investigation of alleged leaks of secret investigative material by her office.
A Supreme Court spokesman said Thursday the halt is effective "until further order of the court." Matters in the case are otherwise under seal.
Attorney General Kathleen Kane says she's done nothing wrong. The court will hear her challenge in March to the legality of the special prosecutor involved in the investigation of her office.
A grand jury last month recommended that Kane be charged with perjury, false swearing, official oppression and obstruction.
The case had been sent to Montgomery County's district attorney to decide whether to charge Kane.

This place is famous in western PA:

It's a chili dog topped with tons of chopped onions. The big attraction is watching the owner (I guess?) line them up his arm. LOL

At home, I like these:

It will appear on Showtime in 2016. (Unfortunately, I don't have Showtime. )

WASHINGTON Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin might leave Washington early for West Virginia and run for governor, rather than suffer through another four years of a Senate riven by political hostility.

So far, though, the word he wants to hear bipartisanship is on everyone's lips. Manchin and his coal state interests have found a more receptive audience in the Republican-led Senate, and he's challenging President Obama over construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. He also stands to wield more clout as a centrist Democrat who might be helpful during tough votes the GOP can't win alone.

But the new Congress is only a few days old. The professed bipartisan spirit is fragile. And Manchin is keeping his options open.

I'll make a decision by this summer, end of the spring, the 67-year-old senator and former governor said in an interview with The Associated Press. He refused to commit to serving out his Senate term, which runs through 2018.
