I really want to feel sorry for Michael Cohen

But having heard the way he spoke to people back in the days when he was riding high as Trump's guy, I just haven't been able to conjure up any pity.

Sorry, not sorry ...

50 Democratic candidates have said they won't vote for Pelosi - and GOP is STILL

running ads about her and the MSM is STILL asking anyone with a pulse if she's a liability.

So can we stop already with the "it's fine for Dems to distance themselves from Pelosi because it takes the issue off the table" excuses for playing right into the GOP's hands?

Oh, please ... Any voter who won't vote for a Dem because they won't disavow Pelosi

probably won't vote for the Democrat anyway.

Why do Democrats keep falling for the okey-doke?

Did any of the candidates Sanders and AOC campaigned for win last night?

None of the ones I know about did, but there may be others.

Dear White Friends: Here's something you can do

I'm often asked by my woke white brothers and sisters "what can I do?"

I tend to answer "Do more than just express sympathy and support for us. Put some skin in the game!"

Trump's latest attacks on a black athlete reminds us that football season is coming and the Colin Kaepernack, take-a-knee issue is going to resurface.- probably even uglier than ever.

And I'm reminded of my frustration at how few white athletes are standing with and supporting their black teammates who are suffering the slings and arrows while they stand nearby, risking or sacrificing nothing - at most, a handful of them might put their hand on a black teammate's shoulder, but other than that, they aren't doing a thing.

Black people can try to pressure them all we want - and we are - but we'll get nowhere. But if WHITE fans started to call them out, to demand that the white players also take a knee or show their support in other clear and convincing ways, that would have an impact.

So, I say to my white friends, DEMAND that white football players kneel with and support their black teammates. And if they refuse, put your money where your mouths are; stop going to and/or watching the games, stop wearing their jersies, stop giving them a pass.

The black players are being abused. And the owners are getting away with it because they are isolating and stigmatizing the black players and the white players, in their silence and inaction, are endorsing it.

Their white fans can change that.

Yes, it might be inconvenient, and not fun, but it's nothing compared to what the black players are dealing with and, frankly, black folks are tired of doing all the heavy lifting while our allies send their thoughts and prayers.

You can do something. Please step up and do it!

DNC Chair apologizes to black voters

“We took too many people for granted,” Perez continued, “and African Americans—our most loyal constituency—we all too frequently took for granted. That is a shame on us, folks, and for that I apologize. And for that I say, it will never happen again!”
