"Extremist groups" equals RepubliQkkkans

I’m watching yet another “story” about “extremist group” Oath Keepers on CBS Sunday morning.

I’ve seen individual stories on this and other groups but the missing part of the story is that the media will not state the obvious: all of these groups are Republicans.

We know this: there are zero equivalencies with domestic terrorism. There’s no “both sides” on this issue.

Doing individual stories without tying all the loose ends together does an injustice to America.

The third “victim” and the timing of all of this as NY bears down on ** is once again super lucky for the investigated.

If Cuomo’s gone does that affect any required cooperation between NY city and state?

Is this a contrived effort to attack the state that wields prosecutorial power?

Heard on radio that ** blamed high oil prices on Biden at CPAC

Oil prices fell sharply when ** became president and they stayed down for his entire term.

In the six weeks that Biden’s been in office, gas prices have shot up 25% in my area. I paid $40 for a fill up recently when it’s cost about $30 the last four years.

What’s happened over the last six weeks to precipitate this kind of rise?

I paid attention to gas prices his whole term because it smacked of manipulation. Lowered gas prices bolstered the economy—even though the economy still ran into serious trouble, especially right before the first impeachment. I observed prices drop lower when the Khashoggi murder happened and I wondered then if correlating price declines were connected.

Just my observations...

Sounds like he’s voicing lobbyist Grover Norquist’s vision of shrinking government to the size where you can drown it in a bathtub.

The only thing that I wish is that we had such a clear (but not traitorous) vision for our future.

The WORST is yet to come and won't it be fine ... 🎶 🎼 🎶 🎼 🎶 🎼

Despite the seemingly-favorable verdict it’s clear to me that ** has lost a lot already and there are probably more losses on the way as he fends off an onslaught from the courts.

Think about it.

He's been exiled to Florida. A New Yorker through and through, Florida just isn't his style. (Plus, the Russian mob doesn't blend in there as easily as they did in NY).

His resort(s) is no longer subsidized by our tax dollars and it has been reported that business is down due to the financial impact of the pandemic crisis he created. There’s also a reported loss of patronage due to fallout from his traitorous incitement.

After four years of being surrounded by throngs of sycophants, he's relatively secluded now--both physically distanced and socially silenced--absent a socmedia megaphone.

Given every opportunity possible, including to serve in the most powerful office in the world, he chose disaster and chaos. His record of failure speaks for itself and bodes well for plenty more failures as he proclaims building his own social media platform and taking office again.

All in all, he cannot be happy and I for one am happy about that.
