She could have, as have so many women before her, tried to forget it ever happened. she could have said nothing. she could have done her best to tamp down the memory of the day that vile pig assaulted her.
But she didn’t. She spoke out. She named his name and she filed suit.
A brave act. Brave because speaking out cost her her job. Brave because her good name is now being dragged through the right-wing press. Brave because the gross deviant who violated her is rich and powerful. He is fueled by spite. He is obsessed with revenge. He is a destroyer of lives.
But E. Jean doesn’t care. She wants justice.
Right now, in a courtroom in Manhattan, a jury is listening to the facts of the case.
Let’s hope that maybe, just maybe, for once in his privileged pampered life, this despicable degenerate is held accountable for his disgusting actions.

The most dangerous cities have the strictest gun laws
Aka, lies Republicans tell about crime in cities like Chicago and Baltimore. Baltimore and Chicago have strict gun laws but are by far not the most dangerous cities in America. What statistics show is the most dangerous cities have — Surprise! — more guns.
FBI crime statistics from 2021 — the most recent year available — show the most dangerous cities in the US based on violent crime and property crime rates are: St. Louis MO, Mobile AL and Birmingham AL. Baltimore is 4th; Chicago isn't even in the top 15.
Mass shootings? Boulder CO, San Jose CA, Indianapolis IN, Atlanta GA and Colorado Springs CO top the list.
Baltimore and Chicago aren't on that list.
Cities with the highest gun violence rates per capita: Jackson MS, Gary IN, St. Louis MO, New Orleans LA and Memphis TN.
The top states by gun death rate are those with the highest gun ownership rates: Mississippi, Louisiana, Wyoming, Missouri, Alabama and Alaska.
The problem is the guns.

President Biden clearly warned Americans not to travel to Russia after Britney Griner’s incident.
Apparently Gershkowich was basically living in Russia phoning it in so to speak.
