I'm qualified!

Once a year I get a home visit from a nurse practitioner. We spend about an hour getting me poked, prodded, and measured, and then reviewing my recent medical history, procedures, and medications. Then we get to the cognitive part, which includes the nurse giving me a list of words to memorize, a list I’ll be asked to repeat after a brief section of question-and-answer. When I repeated the words verbatim, she smiled as I asked if anyone else had ever done so well. She put on a faux serious face and said, “No one would ever believe it. I’m noting in your file that you are eminently qualified to be president.” Then she did accordion hands.

Given that I live in a deep red part of a purple state that home visit just made my day. Yes it did.

In his coverage of the rich getting richer during the pandemic he said that Jeff Bezos is worth nearly $200billion. Wrong. Bezos may have $200billion, but that doesn't mean he's worth it.
