Cutting away from Trump??

Trump is speaking at a rally, and Thomas Roberts (on MSNBC) cut away to cover Hillary speaking.

Sincerely hope nothing bad happens to Thomas!

Say what???

Steve Kornacki just went on this big rant about TV ad buys by campaigns, with a graphic showing the disparity between how much the Clinton campaign has spent and how little the Trump campaign has spent. He then opined about how such spending apparently doesn’t make much of a difference, seeing as how the race is so tight.

Or maybe, dipstick, just maybe the spending disparity is due to the documented BILLIONS in free coverage the media has provided Trump, the near constant airtime that no other campaign could ever dream of buying.

Gawdamitey, I do miss the semblance of real journalism we used to have!

Sticking around

I spent a good chunk of time this week removing old bumper stickers and adding new ones. Even washed the car so it would look spiffy. Today as I arrived at an event and went to open the back of the van to get my walker out I noticed that someone had placed a large Trump sticker on the back window. As I peeled it off I found it sad that this person found it necessary to sneak the thing on there rather than having a conversation.

So, I'll be adding a couple more stickers to my car, stickers that read:

AN OPPOSITION STICKER PLACED WITHOUT MY CONSENT
WILL GENERATE A $100 DONATION TO CLINTON'S CAMPAIGN.
BUT I THANK YOU FOR NOT KEYING MY CAR AGAIN.

Disturbing implications

Which is most frightening?

(A) A candidate publicly suggesting that his opponent should be harmed or assassinated

(B) That same candidate repeating the suggestion because he faced no serious repercussions the first time

(C) That we should even have to ask

The After-Scam

Seems the folks at NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC are really ticked at Trump. Turns out they don’t like being misinformed and manipulated. In other words, they’re getting a taste of what viewers have been thinking about NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC.
