Apropos of nothing important . . .

So how come some television shows are starting two or three minutes before the hour, and others are starting two or three minutes after the hour?

Kind of annoying, doncha know.

Talking Graham-Cassidy with my Med D provider

A representative of my Med D provider called this morning. In the course of that conversation I asked what the company thought about Graham-Cassidy. She hemmed and hawed, tried to change the subject, tried to tell me that I would not be impacted. I pointed out that if/when a friend or family member is denied care I will most certainly be negatively impacted if their health worsens. She couldn’t argue with that.

Well, back to abnormal.

It seems the news media is starting to shift back a bit from the hurricane disasters in order to provide coverage of the continuing White House disaster.

Trails Close for Elk Mating...

Trails close for elk mating at Rocky Mountain National Park

Certain trails and rivers will be closed in the evenings so that elks can mate peacefully at the Rocky Mountain National Park.

According to a Rocky Mountain National Park news release, patrons will not be allowed to travel through the following trails via foot or horse: Horseshoe Park, Upper Beaver Meadows, Moraine Park, Harbison Meadow and Holzwarth Meadow. The park has also prohibited fishing in the Fall River, Thompson River and Colorado River throughout the evenings.

The closures will be from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. until Oct. 31.
