Seems that the GOPers are intent on proving that they are still fully capable of being petty and whiney, apparently determined to slow the process as much as possible.

Are they really this devoid of any knowledge of history, this dense, needing every phrase explained ad nauseam?

At the service for Elijah Cummings, the camera panned across those attending. I confess to have soured a bit as the lens settled on certain members of congress, wondering why they were there. I won’t bother to name them. But I wonder if they considered whether or not their own eventual passing would elicit such an outpouring of love, if they would be remembered for such things as honor and decency. I hope they did, but they are responsible for my doubts on the matter.
