Meanwhile...
When a break is needed I go to the live feed from the San Diego Zoo elephant compound. They are such magnificent creatures, and fun to watch. So I went there while Cruz was “speaking”. The elephants are enjoying a fresh pile of dirt provided by the keepers. They’re all digging in it and tossing it around. There’s a metaphor in there just dying to get out...
