There it is again! The stage festooned with flags, an empty lectern, reporters talking and talking as we wait and wait and wait. Is this a rerun from 2016? And then Joe and Kamala enter. “Wow!” doesn’t begin to cover it. And yes, the thought occurs that this is Trump’s favorite tactic turned back on him, and it is tempting to contemplate how much he hates it. The schadenfreude is, indeed, tasty.
