Late yesterday, the Montrose Mirror posted this announcement from Rep. Lauren Boebert of a town hall meeting set for today with basically no notice:
But this morning, the word is that Boeberts first-ever town hall as a sworn-in member of Congress, which would have been a big news event after Boeberts historically chaotic first few weeks in office, has been cancelled due to an unspecified security threat:

When the news broke about Leahy being hospitalized, my first thought was that republicans had done something to him. I truly hate being that jaded, but damned if they haven't earned that kind of cynicism.
Just got an email informing me that I'll have to go to the UPS store tomorrow to pick up the package they didn't even try to deliver today, a very unappreciated task for someone with mobility issues. Repeating problem with them, can't help wishing that my suppliers would choose a different shipper. For those of us who have meds and medical supplies delivered, this is a matter of increasing concern. And yes, I went to their customer "service" link. After filling out their form and relating what the problem is, they casually informed me that the contact was discontinued because no agents are available.
Now I'm going to go bang my head on the wall for a while. Sheesh.
