Happy New Year All!

Although I think 2020 will be a horrible year for our Country, I wish the best to all.

My pessimism is based upon the last 25 years of Republican actions. Many hold out hope that enough Republicans will come to their senses and put Country in front of party. IMO, they will do the opposite. Again, this is based upon the last 25 years. They have an echo chamber of hate radio and Faux News. And the downward spiral is gaining speed.

Again, IMO, there is one way out, beginning with massively out voting them and then relentlessly pushing back. Democrats will need to be increasingly combative and protect our own. We can never allow another Al Franken, never give an inch to Republicans or the media. Kind of sucks, but it is the new reality.

Anyone want to argue that there are decent Republicans?

Think about what we have witnessed and identify one decent Republican. There is absolutely no excuse for supporting these people.

I'm sure they will roll out Andrea Mitchell, Kelly O'Donnell, and the rest of the Republican apologists to tone down criticisms of tRump.

Repuke diversions/lies will be given credence so as allow just enough doubt. And then reports will be how the Dems failed to make a strong enough case to move the undecideds into the strongly impeach column.

It happened in every debate over the past twenty-five years, every key policy proposal, and especially in reporting of every Presidential election.

This battle won't be won with accurate reporting from the media.

Something really strange just happened

I walked out to throw a beer can in my garbage. The house next door had this bell ringing sound emanating.

Strange thing, sounded like a cell phone, but the bell actually sounded real, almost mechanical.

1. The cost of renovations to support security and comfort for world leaders
a. Upgrades to rooms
b. Upgrade to infrastructure including internet, electrical, plumbing
c. perimeter fencing/entry renovations
d. golf course and ground renovations due to construction impact on surrounding areas.

And many others and then the kicker

2. They will fully burden all costs for the summit and charge the US taxpayers. So the millions of upgrades will then be burdened across the rentals. So every fucking penny spent, that will be depreciated over years, will be charged for room/facilities for the week of the summit.

Everyone - Especially Congress - Needs to pause - Take a deep breath - and ponder what just happened

Fat Nixon is a liar, everyone knows it even his supporters, they didn't care because it was always about sticking it to the Libs.

Now they have a different problem, the lies are being proven, hard to laugh away lying about collusion with Russia, the #1 enemy. Repubs have no cover left, he has left them naked to insults of not being patriots. (They aren't) Not favoring Democracies, (they don't) not being true to the Constitution.

They will be unable to bring up politics, how great tRump is, in any setting where there might be a Democrat. Because the only response needed, is your guy worked with our #1 enemy, laughed about it, and hid the transcripts, don't you dare challenge anyone's patriotism, because patriots don't vote for traitors to our Constitution or Democracy.

A poster earlier had a clip from Russian News stating impeachment would not go through, it will stall in Senate, we got tRump elected. (Paraphrasing)

So I read it, got pissed at the Russians and Orange Shitstain and moved on.
