Whose blood will be shed? It may be that of those in this room, Bevin said.
09/13/2016 09:20 am ET Sam Levine Associate Politics Editor, The Huffington Post
Kentucky Gov. Matt Bevin (R) said on Saturday that conservatives may have to turn to physical violence to protect their values.
I want us to be able to fight ideologically, mentally, spiritually, economically, so that we dont have to do it physically, Bevin said during his speech at the Values Voter Summit in Washington. But that may, in fact, be the case.
Bevin went on to say that he believed the U.S. would survive a Hillary Clinton presidency, but it might require bloodshed.

The rate at which pristine areas are being destroyed is catastrophic, say scientists.

Picture a plain the size of India made of grass, exposed dirt, and the smoking remnants of vegetation. Thats what humanity has gifted the world since the early 1990s thanks to logging, mining, energy exploration, development, and other agents of landscape destruction.
The planet lost roughly 1.2 million square miles of wilderness over this period, equivalent to one-tenth of its total stock, according to a new study in Current Biology.

Vice President Biden on Thursday doubled down on a proposal to make attending community college free for students.
The president and I and Hillary [Clinton] are talking about free community college education, Biden said during a speech to the Center for American Progress.
I dont know of any businessman that believes 12 years is enough education to compete in the 21st century, he added.

The campaign against marijuana legalization in Arizona received a major infusion of cash last week from a synthetic cannabis drugmaker that has been investigated for alleged improper marketing of a highly addictive prescription painkiller, according to campaign finance reports.
The $500,000 donation from Insys Therapeutics, based in Chandler, Ariz., amounts to more than one-third of all money raised by Arizonans for Responsible Drug Policy, the group opposing legalization. It's one of the largest single contributions to any anti-legalization campaign ever, according to campaign finance records maintained by ballotpedia.com.
Insys also manufactures the deadly painkiller Subsys fentanyl. The company is facing state and federal investigations, as well as a shareholder lawsuit, over allegations that it improperly marketed the drug to doctors in an effort to boost sales.
In February, a former sales rep for the company pleaded guilty to fraud charges stemming from a kickback scheme involving Subsys fentanyl purchases. Last month, two former employees pleaded not guilty after being arrested for participating in a similar fentanyl kickback scheme.

In June, Koch Industries, the conglomerate owned by the billionaires Charles and David Koch, launched a new corporate public-relations campaign called End the Divide, to advance the notion that Koch Industries is deeply concerned by growing inequality in America.
An ad for the campaign urges viewers to look around, as an image of an imposing white mansion is replaced by one of blighted urban streets. America is divided, an announcer intones, with government and corporations picking winners and losers, rigging the system against people, creating a two-tiered society with policies that fail our most vulnerable.
The message was surprising, coming from a company owned by two of the richest men in the world, who have spent millions of dollars pushing political candidates and programs that favor unfettered markets and oppose government intervention on behalf of the poor.

"Were losing our jobs like were a bunch of babies," and other Trump quotes clearly indicate that he might've suffered a traumatic head injury at some point.
BOB CESCA 14 HOURS AGO
You might've heard the endless rumor-mongering from Donald Trump and other conspiratorial Republicans about Hillary Clinton's health and mental capacity. It all emerged after Hillary collapsed from dehydration a few years ago, banging her head in the process. Since then, there's been a steady stream of GOP concern-trolling about her ability to handle the office of the presidency in her allegedly feeble condition. (It's clearly a sexist "crippled old granny" dog whistle.)
However, after watching the Commander-in-Chief Forum on MSNBC Wednesday night, we can't help but to wonder whether it's Trump who's really suffering from brain damage.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump criticized U.S. foreign policy and the American political press corps Thursday during an interview on RT America, a state-owned Russian television network.
In a wide-ranging interview that aired Thursday evening, Trump spoke with journalist Larry King about the presidential race, American intervention in Iraq and the Middle East, and the potential intrusion by Russian hackers into Democratic Party databases. RT, which airs in several countries in English and Russian, is funded by the Russian government; though it characterizes itself as independent, the network has been regularly accused of pro-Kremlin bias.
The interview came as Trump faced sustained criticism for praising Russian President Vladimir Putin, which he has regularly done on the campaign trail to the discomfort of many members of his own party, who have distanced themselves from the comments.

Donald Trump repeated a claim during an NBC candidate forum on Wednesday night that he's made again and again this campaign: that he was opposed to the Iraq War before the US invasion.
The problem: It's simply not true. In 2002, Trump came out in favor of the Iraq War.
Trump has been lying throughout the campaign, about both his issues and his own past record. But the problem is that he can just get away with brazenly lying. By virtue of his status in the polls, news outlets are forced to give Trump airtime, and it is very hard to disprove a dedicated serial liar on air if he just commits to their falsehoods.
Trump hasn't stopped lying, and there's no evidence that negative press coverage has damaged his campaign.
