Democratic Delegate Scorecard for March 25, 2016
NATIONAL POLITICS|By David Wasserman, March 25, 2016
After winning Arizona convincingly on Tuesday, Hillary Clinton maintains a virtually insurmountable lead over Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination. Despite her losses in Idaho and Utah, Clinton now has a pledged delegate lead of 1,228 to 934, meaning Sanders would need to win 58 percent of the remaining pledged delegates at stake to draw even with Clinton by June. That's a virtual impossibility given Democrats' all-proportional delegate allocation system.

Hillary Clinton retakes the lead over Bernie Sanders in Wisconsin
Hillary Clinton retakes the lead over Bernie Sanders in Wisconsin
By dailynewsbin | March 23, 2016
The state of Wisconsin appeared to be perhaps the largest state remaining on the democratic primary calendar that Bernie Sanders could win. In last months polling he led the state by one percent, a narrow lead within the margin of error, but enough to give him plenty of hope for winning the state. However, brand new polling says that Hillary Clinton has retaken the lead in Wisconsin, and by no small margin.
New polling from Emerson says that Hillary Clinton now leads the state of Wisconsin by six points over Bernie Sanders.

Sanders gasping against Clinton as race heads West
Sanders gasping against Clinton as race heads WestThe Vermont senator badly needs a surge of momentum as Arizona, Utah and Idaho vote.
By NICK GASS 03/22/16 06:54 PM EDT
A week after scoring a five-state rout against Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton has another chance Tuesday evening to widen her already daunting lead over the Vermont senator in the chase for the Democratic nomination.
As the contest shifts to the interior West, Arizona looms as the most critical primary of the night. Labor Secretary Tom Perez, who has been rumored to be a possible running mate for Clinton, campaigned on her behalf in the state, and former President Bill Clinton stumped in Phoenix over the weekend. Clinton's team has long downplayed expectations in the other two states voting on Tuesday, Utah and Idaho both caucus states that favor Sanders.

When I called Friday to confirm our appointment, the message back was, Sorry, schedule change. No can do.
Really? OK, but will the candidate make himself available to the press for questions? Ted Cruz did that when he passed through Boise two weeks ago. Marco Rubio didnt.
No response from Team Sanders.
I called another staffer. No, as of now we dont see any time for that, but well let you know if something changes.
Right. Well, we wont hold our breath.

Older Voters May Be Hillary Clinton’s Answer to Bernie Sanders’s Youth Appeal
Older Voters May Be Hillary Clintons Answer to Bernie Sanderss Youth AppealBy AMY CHOZICK MARCH 20, 2016
LAKE WORTH, Fla. The afternoon of the Florida primaries last week, Sylvia Wolfson, 87, and more than a dozen other retirees scurried around an office set up with trays of cookies from Costco and large-print instructions on how to unlock the restroom door.
They were diligently calling voters to remind them to be at their polling locations no later than 7 p.m. and to be sure to vote for Hillary Clinton.
Mrs. Wolfson, who was volunteering for Mrs. Clinton, said she realized Senator Bernie Sanders had excited young people, but all of her friends and neighbors in her retirement community here were rooting for the former first lady and secretary of state.

Democrats to Sanders: Time to wind it down
Democrats to Sanders: Time to wind it downProtracted combat with Hillary Clinton threatens to do real damage in a general election against Donald Trump, senators warn.
By BURGESS EVERETT 03/21/16 05:21 AM EDT
Democratic senators of all stripes are as impressed as they are surprised by Bernie Sanders insurgent campaign.
But the time has come, they say, for Sanders to start winding things down.
After holding their fire on Sanders for the better part of a year, the senators all backers of Hillary Clinton are gently calling on Sanders to face the reality that theres almost no chance hes going to be the Democratic nominee.
