Fess up DUers, who here has hit a deer with their vehicle?

You swerved, but still hit the deer. Now you may face a raise in your car insurance rates for something you feel you could not avoid. Even if you have never had this experience several insurance companies are raising rates in states with high or rapidly increasing rates of deer strikes.

Currently West Virginia has the highest rate of deer strikes, where your odds of hitting a deer are one in 39, followed by Michigan, where insurance rate increases are directly correlated with an increase in deer strikes. So, unless you plan to move to Hawaii, where your chances of hitting a deer are only one in 10,000, you may want to take some precautions.

Accidents with deer occur most frequently between October and December which is mating season. Collisions with deer are increasing due to deforestation and building in rural areas forcing deer out of their natural habitats and into more highly populated areas.

yes, this is what has happened. Men used religion to sell a bill of goods that the gods are men -

father figures. All the major religions have a male dominance at the head. Throughout history man went into places and sold the pagans and wiccans on these Father dominated religions and placed man above woman.

There is a reason that the science fields through out history have been studied, written and slanted toward the male.

It goes hand and hand with the religion/power structure.

Therefore all science places the importance of the male health and the maintaining of keeping the male the head of the power structure.

But, as technology advances the need for physical/brute force has lessened and women/brain/deduction and reasoning are now traits brought to the fore front and needed/desired and the whole religion/male dominance is caving in on itself.

very scary for the man who does not trust anything but the status quo.

I think the basic component of Libertarian Philosophy is To Take the Idea of Free Will to the Fullest Extreme.

Individualism without the construct of Living Peacefully Within Society.

They seem to simply Not Care about others and they think it is Their Right To Not Care.

I don't get it. at all.
