Top Georgia GOP Lawmakers Host Briefing on Secret Obama Mind-Control Plot
President Obama is using a Cold War-era mind-control technique known as "Delphi" to coerce Americans into accepting his plan for a United Nations-run communist dictatorship in which suburbanites will be forcibly relocated to cities. That's according to a four-hour briefing delivered to Republican state senators at the Georgia state Capitol last month.

On October 11, at a closed-door meeting of the Republican caucus convened by the body's majority leader, Chip Rogers, a tea party activist told Republican lawmakers that Obama was mounting this most diabolical conspiracy. The event—captured on tape by a member of the Athens-based watchdog Better Georgia (who was removed from the room after 52 minutes)—had been billed as an information session on Agenda 21, a nonbinding UN agreement that commits member nations to promote sustainable development. In the eyes of conservative activists, Agenda 21 is a nefarious plot that includes forcibly relocating non-urban-dwellers and prescribing mandatory contraception as a means of curbing population growth. The invitation to the Georgia state Senate event noted the presentation would explain: "How pleasant sounding names are fostering a Socialist plan to change the way we live, eat, learn, and communicate to 'save the earth.'"

She and her husband hosted Mr Petraeus at a party on their lawn for Tampa's annual Gasparilla parade in 2010. He arrived with a 28-car motorcade. Other guests included Pam Bondi, Florida's Attorney General and a close ally of Mitt Romney, the former presidential candidate.

What Really Happens When a City Makes Its Transit System Free?
When Jean-Francois Mayet became mayor of Châteauroux in 2001, the town’s transit system was descending into irrelevance. Each of Châteauroux’s 49,000 inhabitants took the bus, on average, 21 times per year, well below the 38 per annum average for small French cities.
Mayet, a member of France’s socialist party, did what few mayors confronted with a struggling mass transit system would do: he made the whole thing free.

The motivations for making a transit system free are obvious. Increased ridership can relieve traffic, improve the environment, boost the system’s efficiency, give residents more spending money, help the poor, and rejuvenate central business districts. Unfortunately, the Châteauroux report contains little large-scale analysis of the effects of the system.

And while it might revitalize a struggling small-town transit network, big cities don’t need to incentivize mass transit the same way, where a larger proportion of residents have no other options. To help lower-income residents, Cordier favors a "social tariff" system, developed in Dunkerque in the 1990s, in which discounts on transport passes basically correspond to a passenger’s tax bracket. In Grenoble, for example, the poorest residents can get 95 percent off a transport pass, while the rich pay full price. This allows cities to keep investing in improving the system.

The concept is about to meet its biggest test. At the end of this year, Tallinn, Estonia (pop. 406,000) will eliminate fares on its transit system for residents, making it the world’s biggest city with free mass transit.

Disney buys rights to the Bible
Christianity, represented by the Catholic Church, “being the right version, obviously,” in the words of the Pope, sold the rights for a reported sum of 4 billion Hail Mary’s, three Raphaels and a Da Vinci.
Disney also announced plans to add a Newer New Testament to the existing sacred texts, to be released in 2014.
“This deal makes perfect sense,” Disney Co. chairman and CEO Bob Iger said. “Both Disney and the Church are multinational, family-oriented institutions whose most well-known works are based on fairy tales.”
Pope Benedict was equally enthusiastic about the deal: “I am delighted. The Church is often accused of being behind the times. What better way to rid ourselves of our stuffy conservative image than to put our sacred texts in the hands of the people who gave the world Mickey Mouse?
“This also means I can finally get a record deal for my Gregorian chant/dubstep album.”
Followers of Christianity have expressed their concerns over the deal, but Iger sought to reassure believers that there would be no major changes to existing material.
“What exactly happens after the Book of Revelation? Satan and all of the wicked souls have been cast into the lake of fire and a new heaven has been established. Now I don’t want to spoil the surprise, but what if Satan wasn’t actually destroyed? What if he comes back, meaner than ever, and Christ has to come out of retirement to deal with him again, aided by a hot large-breasted sidekick and an array of celestial weaponry? I mean that’s sort of the plot of Constantine, so it probably won’t be that, but you get the idea.”
Speculation is rife about who will write the NNT, but reports suggest that there will be four gospels, namely the gospels according to J.K. Rowling, Dan Brown, Stephanie Meyer and E.L. James, authors of Harry Potter, The Da Vinci Code, Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey respectively.
If the Newer New Testament is a commercial success, there are plans to turn it into a movie, with Michael Bay directing and Justin Bieber starring as Jesus (Biebus) Christ, as well as providing the soundtrack.
The deal also opens the possibility of even more collaborations in the future. Various new religious orders could be established, such as the Sisters of Minnie, the Donaldine monks, and the Order of St. Goofy.
Furthermore, Disney is keen to add to its 14 licensed theme parks, and the Pope is hopeful that Vatican City, or ‘Jesus Land’, will be number 15.
“I know a lot of people would be thrilled by the idea of millions of children running around the corridors of the Vatican,” His Holiness said.

WASHINGTON—High-level sources in Washington confirmed today that CIA director David Petraeus was fully aware of his extramarital affair with his biographer Paula Broadwell almost a year before the story broke last week.
“All evidence suggests Petraeus quite probably had extensive and detailed knowledge about his protracted sexual relationship with Paula Broadwell as early as last fall, shortly after he began having sex with her,” said former Army spokesman Steve Boylan, adding that Petraeus was likely well informed of his own adultery throughout the course of his entire relationship with Broadwell, and may indeed have had full knowledge of various intimate details of said relationship.
“There is strong reason to believe that Petraeus came across explicit e-mails sent between Mrs. Broadwell and himself not long after he wrote them, and that his awareness of the romance was more or less confirmed somewhere around the time he began having a yearlong affair with her.”

Why should you get involved?
As the largest private employer in the United States and the world, Walmart is setting the standard for jobs. That standard is so low that hundreds of thousands of its employees are living in poverty—even many that work full time. The problems extend to workers who toil in unsafe working conditions in subcontracted warehouses. And also to workers in developing countries such as China and Bangladesh who make incredibly low wages while manufacturing the goods on Walmart’s shelves. That pulls down standards for workers in the United States and around the globe.
Because of its size and political influence, Walmart is affecting much more than just working conditions. Although it has gained much fanfare for its efforts in environmentalism, sustainability has mostly been a public relations campaign for Walmart. The company has written hundreds of press releases and thousands of blog posts, but made little actual progress in reducing the environmental impacts of its products and business.
