Apparently there are “new questions” about the role of the media 2012 race! What kind of questions? Well, the kind Fox Nooz asks, like: why does the media insist on pointing out all the lies that come out of Mitt Romney’s mouth? And: why do they have to call constant attention to the fact that Gingrich is a womanizing scumbag? Yes, those kinds of questions.

The video opens with a clip of Newt being his normal charming classy self, telling a primary debate moderator that it’s basically his fault that there aren’t “decent” people running for office. Then cut to Megyn Kelly, who seems like she might be a little drunk? Maybe? And then here comes Fox Nooz contributor Jonah Goldberg to weigh in on the controversy (so yeah, maybe she IS a little drunk because even Megyn Kelly probably dreads talking to Jonah Goldberg) as well as some regular Fox Nooz contributor, so we KNOW we’re in store for a balanced, nuanced discussion, what with all these Fox Nooz contributors chatting about how much the media SUCKS. Except for Fox Nooz, who is Above it All. As usual.

Video at the link and yes

it might be worth watching

Obama victory spells trouble for Israel's Netanyahu

Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu faces an even more awkward time with Washington and re-energized critics at home who accused him on Wednesday of backing the loser in the U.S. presidential election.

With Iran topping his conservative agenda, Netanyahu will have to contend with a strengthened second-term Democratic president after four years of frosty dealings with Barack Obama and a rift over how to curb Tehran's nuclear program.

Facing his own re-election battle in January, polls give Netanyahu little chance of losing but perceptions that he has mishandled Israel's main ally have been seized on by opponents.

LOL...The Onion....Romney ' I want to congratulate President Obama'

'I Want To Congratulate The President,' Romney Says In 240,000th And Final Lie Of Campaign

BOSTON—While delivering his concession speech at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center Tuesday night, Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney uttered the 240,000th and final lie of his 2012 campaign when he offered his “sincere congratulations” to President Barack Obama. “This has been a hard-fought and closely contested campaign, and while we’ve had our share of disagreements, there has always been a great deal of respect and admiration between myself and the president,” said Romney, concluding 17 months’ worth of manipulative falsehoods, half-truths, and outright fabrications with one last bald-faced lie.

“Tonight, the American people made their voices heard. And now I urge every one of my supporters to set aside their differences with my opponent and join me in standing behind our president, so that we all may come together in a spirit of understanding and cooperation to build a better America.” Romney then concluded his speech by expressing his thanks for the tireless efforts of his campaign team, marking the 12th and final true statement of his nearly six-year-long White House run

Puerto Rico Chooses to Become the 51st State

n a slightly-less publicized election, citizens of Puerto Rico have decided to embrace statehood and become the 51st state of America. Although not all precincts have reported their tallies, 65% of votes that have been counted are in favor of statehood. Many Puerto Ricans wanted to vote in tonight’s election, but were unable to do so. Under its current relationship with the United States, Puerto Rico is only considered a territory, and is unable to participate in presidential elections. The territory also has a very limited representation in Congress, which causes some citizens to feel left out of the law making process in the United States. The transition to statehood has previously been proposed to Puerto Ricans, however citizens previously decided against statehood.

Although the transition to statehood has been all but approved by citizens of Puerto Rico, there is still one more hurdle for the aspiring state to jump through: Congress. In order for Puerto Rico to officially earn statehood, Congress must vote on the matter. President Obama stated that he supports whatever the citizens of Puerto Rico support, which may help the territory in the long run. Although the election is over, one looming question remains: Where will the extra star go on the flag?
