He said, 'This was not the language used'

So Trump doubled down on the lie, and told another lie...

Durbin was there, and on live TV, this morning, he said, "Trump lied."

I thought for once, just once, he would do the correct thing...and I was wrong....!!!!

I think we will see a first..Trump will apologize

I don't know how or when, but the White House will issue some kind of apology. Sounds ridiculous, but I think it will happen. Even Trump cannot step upon certain courtesies to other nations. I could be totally wrong on this, but we will see. Maybe early tomorrow or Saturday.

Yes, there is a celebrity Afro-American woman who would make a great president.

But she isn't named Oprah. Yes, a lot of experience in politics. She is smart, well known, and would have outstanding support from some great people. She would easily win. More easily than Oprah. And she is well liked by millions. Her name is Michelle. Her husband is also well known and respected throughout the world.

Why not? Stranger things have happened. Look around and we see some very strange things. Why not a wonderful and feel good unusual happening. President Michelle Obama...!!!!!!

Most unusual encounters with a wild animal (any kind that isn't someones pet)

One happened in 1973. I was driving one morning in South Dakota, in a state park. I was on the way to the mountain with the Presidents on it. Maybe 8am and in the middle of the road were a group of wild buffalos. One was seated in the middle of the road, you couldn't get around it. So I got out with camera, and got within two or three feet of it, and took a picture, which I still have. It just sat there, and there was a line of cars and it eventually got up with the rest of them and left.

Another happened in Yellowstone Park in a campground that I was spending the night. (1979) I had a tent and was with a group of people. We were involved in some drinking or smoking of stuff, when someone said, "It is over there by the fence" It was getting dark so there was a crowd over by a 3 or four food fence with this huge head hanging over it. Yes, HUGE....It turns out that it was a large moose, that came there often, and stuck his head over the small fence and waited for the crowd to feed him/her. And they did. Most of what was fed to this large critter was fruits and vegetables that obviously were ok, but the crowd gave it other food. And he didn't mind. He ate it. Evidently it was a regular feeding place for him/her and quite easy pickings if you please. I got pretty close, but didn't feed it. I don't think I touched it but others were.

hit the link, and you can see for yourself. This is not made up. How can one make this up? Evidently, this was said today, Sunday January 7, 2018. Now I do not remember the CIA ever defending the "mental abilities" of the sitting President of the United States. Not even for Junior Bush. Never!!

But this happened today, according to the article. What universe are we in? Is this an episode of the Twilight Zone? I am eagerly awaiting your responses ..

A smart person would stop this, but Mr. Trump is so stupid that he doubles down.
And nobody is going to suggest or tell Mr. Trump that he is doing something "stupid."

Trump did get something from Wolf's book.."total humiliation"

When it is said and done, that is what the book is really about....

"Total Humiliation" of Trump is the one thing Trump does not want. Trump is all about his "image" and the "image of his family" Trump loses totally in that regard. Trump's self image is very important to him.
According to all reports, Trump is portrayed as not connected , lost, and incompetent. The destruction of his image could destroy him forever. We will all see. Full ramifications of this book will take some time. Hopefully, we will see the results sooner rather than later.

The President senses good angles when on camera, and he's obsessed with polls, the size of his crowds and the flattery dished out by foreign leaders.

But as Washington consumes a sensational West Wing exposé by journalist Michael Wolff, Trump is being forced to watch as his prized image is ripped to shreds.

When a presidency is anchored so fundamentally on an image, as it is with Trump, rather than a long history of political achievement or ideological consistency, any deterioration of that image can be especially perilous. For Trump, who may be more conscious of how he is perceived than any politician in history, the mockery is likely to be especially painful.

Wolff, in some cases using on-the-record quotes, sketches an image far removed from the one constructed by Trump. It's a picture of a President who knows little of policy details and cares less and appears not to perceive the vast responsibilities of his role.
