Let's get something straight, politics is ugly shit. and worse....

That is what it is, has been always will be. It is about life and death. Got it?
Sixty years ago, in the sixties, Johnson proposed and got thru medicare..He used some ugly methods to pass it. I recall hearing that he had recordings of southern politicians who were screwing around and he blackmailed them into voting for it. It is ugly, nasty shit, worse..he lied and killed hundreds of thousands in Viet Nam...in 68, I recently heard (within the last year) he was ready to cut a deal to end it, the Repulicans pulled some real ugly shit and blocked the deal, so thousands more died..Nixon did that too.

It isn't pretty and never has been. Republicans are talking about "vouchercare" which is pretty ugly. It would destroy almost all of us seniors who depend on medicare..They don't give a damn. They didn't 58 years ago, they didn't ten years ago, and they don't today.
Whatever Obama uses to win, and it is ugly, well that is what it is. The worst is yet to come from these Republicans....just wait, but Rove and Koch are not thru yet...

Charlie Crist was talking to Florida..very respected there

If that short speech, about the Republican party leaving him, helps to get just 2 percent of that vote..just one in fifty..then it was worth it. Those 29 electoral votes in our hands are very very important. We get those, and well.......you know the rest. Yes, he was controversial, but he is very well respected and liked in Florida..yes, it was very very ugly. But that 2 percent that follow and like him, could put us over..maybe not, but maybe. And this war. We need every vote..every one.

Truth Comes Out, CEO Says Stupid Consumers Deserve Hefty Fees

By Bob Sullivan

Finally, an honest CEO.

Ryanair head Michael O'Leary called his customers "idiots" this week. The chief of the deep-discount, “gotcha”-dependent airline might be the first to say it, but he's hardly the first to think it.

O'Leary was speaking specifically about fliers who fail to print their boarding passes before they arrive at the airport, and are forced to pay Ryanair's 60-euro fee. The issue came to a head after a mom paid about $380 so her family could get the paperwork to fly home from Spain to Britain. She aired her concerns on Facebook and got hundreds of thousands of "likes." O'Leary responded to the controversy as many CEOs would after being administered a truth serum.

"We think Mrs. McLeod should pay 60 euros for being so stupid," he reportedly told The Telegraph before piling on the sarcasm. "She wasn't able to print her boarding card because, as you know, there are no Internet cafes in Alicante, no hotels where they could print them out for you, and you couldn't get to a fax machine so some friend at home can print them and fax them to you."

It is all about screwing the consumer, especially if the consumer doesn't have knowledge or time. Screw that person..that is what this guy is saying..Well, he represents so many CEOs that it make me sick

North Dakoda Senate Candidate voted to Criminalize Abortion in Case of Incest, and Rape

Huffington Post, and Buzzfeed.

Rick Berg, North Dakota's at-large congressman and a candidate for Senate, voted to criminalize abortion in the state as a Class AA felony, including in the case of rape or abortion.

Berg, who is running against former Democratic Attorney General Heidi Heitkamp, voted with a minority of the state house in 2007 to make terminating a pregnancy illegal, in a bill that only made exception for when the life of the mother is endangered.

Berg was granted a coveted speaking slot at the Republican National Convention last week, just weeks after fellow Senate candidate Rep. Todd Akin drew bipartisan outrage for outrageously claiming that pregnancies don't occur in cases of "legitimate rape."

Ryan's lie, much better than we think..He just defined himself to many.

We all know people who got a great deal. Good looks, physical strength, money, position, connections, fame etc...Ryan has that..
But it isn't enough..
..He goatta be a less than three hour marathoner. More, more. and More... People, who strive honestly, runners, swimmers, exercizers, all know how hard an achievement like that 3 hour marathon is. And he lied about it. And he knew it. Cause..the 3 hours is an achievement, the four is not.

It isn't enough to have what he has, so a week ago, he has got to lie..about nothing..a nothing thing..like someone else..

let us see..."Oh, I read them all." Remember? Ryan did this to himself, and he will be the but of jokes forever..and ever..great..
He will not be liked at all.

Paul Ryan admits that the Marathon Time Claim Untrue...

The Huffington Post | By Alana Horowitz Posted: 09/01/2012 9:38 am Updated: 09/01/2012 10:08 am

Paul Ryan's campaign walked back comments the VP nominee made about running a marathon.

" I had a two hour and fifty-something marathon, Ryan said last week an interview. I hurt a disc in my back, so I don’t run marathons anymore "

But the Ryan campaign confirmed to Runner's World that he has only run one marathon, the 1990 Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota, which he finished in just over 4 hours.

The race was more than 20 years ago, but my brother Tobin—who ran Boston last year—reminds me that he is the owner of the fastest marathon in the family and has never himself ran a sub-three hour run. Ryan said in a prepared statement. If I were to do any rounding, it would certainly be to four hours, not three. He gave me a good ribbing over this at dinner tonight "
