House Intel Chief Tipps Off Trump...Huff Post..

Rep. Devin Nunes’ bombshell disclosures about surveillance on Trump associates raise more questions than they answer.

WASHINGTON ― Investigators don’t normally brief the people they’re investigating. But on Wednesday afternoon, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), the Republican who’s leading a congressional investigation into whether President Donald Trump’s team colluded with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election, went to the White House to talk to the president.

U.S. intelligence agencies had intercepted Trump associates’ communications ― and perhaps those of Trump himself ― in the final three months of the Obama administration, Nunes said he told Trump.

Nunes, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and a close Trump ally, said the intercepted communications didn’t mention Russia and were therefore unrelated to his investigation. But the subject matter ― the intelligence community’s investigation of Trump and his associates’ connections to foreign powers ― overlapped. And Nunes’ objective appeared political: Deflect attention from Trump and his associates’ ties to Russia, and back up Trump’s claim that he is a victim of “deep state” loyal to former President Barack Obama.

Nunes’ gambit failed. In attempting to put out the Trump-Russia fire, he made much of it worse: In two press conferences on Wednesday, he confirmed that Trump’s surrogates ― and maybe the president himself ― were subjects of legal surveillance, implied that they may have had suspicious contact with agents from a country other than Russia, and potentially disclosed classified information.

And by choosing to brief the president, who’s so closely tied to the investigation, before sharing his new information with his Democratic counterpart, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), Nunes also raised doubts about his own ability to lead his committee’s probe.

Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said that Nunes “will need to decide if he is the chairman of an independent investigation or if he’s a surrogate for the White House.”

Shortly after talking to Trump about his findings, Nunes deflected accusations that he had compromised his impartiality or revealed information and methods that should otherwise have been classified. “What I saw has nothing to do with Russia and nothing to do with the Russian investigation,” he said. “It has everything to do with possible surveillance activities ... and I have the duty to tell [Trump] that.”

So..Nunes says, "....I have the duty to tell [Trump] that."...no you don't. Your duty is to the people of the USA, not Drumpf. You, Nunes, have disqualified yourself from this committee. You did not share this info with the Democratic counterpart, Adam Schiff..(D-Calf) before you talked to your pal Drumpf.. You loose asshole.. You have compromised yourself forever...

It’s not unknown, of course.

In ancient Egypt, there was the symbol of the ouroboros, the snake that eats its own tail. Nerve-addled octopuses sometimes consume their own arms.

But we’ve never watched a president so hungrily devour his own presidency.

Soon, there won’t be anything left except the sound of people snickering.

Consumed by his paranoia about the deep state, Donald Trump has disappeared into the fog of his own conspiracy theories. As he rages in the storm, Lear-like, howling about poisonous fake news, he is spewing poisonous fake news.

Disney accused in new lawsuit of ripping off idea for 'Zootopia,' the billion-dollar Academy Award-

Source: CNBC: by Dan Mangan..3pm ET

What kind of animal would steal a movie idea about .... animals?

Walt Disney was slapped Tuesday with a lawsuit claiming it ripped off the idea for its Oscar-winning, billion-dollar-grossing animated animal flick "Zootopia" from a Hollywood veteran.

The federal suit says screenwriter and producer Gary Goldman pitched the idea for "Zootopia" which he literally had called "Zootopia" twice over the years to Disney and a film company that had a production contract with Disney.

The most recent pitch was in 2009, the suit by Goldman's Esplanade Productions claims. It alleges copyright infringement, breach of implied-in-fact contract, breach of confidence and unfair competition.

Disney eventually produced "Zootopia" for release last year.

OH MY...SAY IT AIN'T SO........??????????

It says that a company like "Disney" stole an idea for a movie from someone else...but...that someone else..evidently has ..."proof" that Disney stole the idea...Now...what do you suppose is going to happen??
I have followed that company over the years...and they ain't the nicest people...They may try to get you to think they are.....but no...their history is ........they ain't............

Yes...early history, in 40s.. when Disney was in charge.....
The company did not want unions...(a number of artists quit after trying to form one)
The company did not want women to be in charge...(women almost never ..repeat never got to any higher level animation positions...
Other minorities were not given much of a chance either..

This is very stupid..Teenager Mauled Jumping into Crocodile Stream on a Bet..

No....I didn't make this one up...don't need to,,
.Stupid is what Stupid is

https://www.yahoo.com/news/australian-teenager-mauled-jumping-crocodile-173616458.html

An 18-year-old Australian youth is recovering after being mauled by a crocodile after jumping into a river for a bet. Lee De Paauw was apparently boasting about how he could swim in the dangerous waters in Johnstone River, north Queensland at around 2.30 am on Saturday (18 March).

A saltwater crocodile – known as an estuarine crocodile or "saltie" – managed to grab his arm but De Paauw managed to punch it and get away. Friends rushed him to hospital in Cairns and doctors said he should make a full recovery.

"Reports from the scene are he was dared to jump into the water, which he did and unfortunately that area is well known for its crocodile population," local paramedic Neil Noble told 9 News. "We're just very grateful that he's survived this incident because it could have turned out to be quite fatal. Certainly to get out the water was absolutely vital in case that crocodile was able to get a good grip on him and do the death roll and then drown him."

English backpacker Sophie Paterson, 24, told the Courier and Mail: "He sort of made this claim 'I'll swim out and back', at first we just said 'don't be so ridiculous' and didn't think he was going to go through with it,'' said Paterson. "It all happened very fast, pretty much as soon as he jumped in, there was splashing and screaming."

Sessions will be gone by the end of the day, today. March 2..

It is guess. It is so clear a lie, and could become the center of attention for months and years. He will be gone because that is what Trump will do. (Of course..it is a guess, and I haven't got a clue..)

Patty Murray (D-Wash.) compared the Republicans in the House to the preschoolers she once taught. To deal with a bunch of fractious, obstreperous 4-year-olds, she said, you need a plan.

When Murray made her comparison, she was about to sit down with Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) in what turned out to be the only significant successful bipartisan budget negotiation Congress has managed since the shutdown.

Four years later, the House is still roiled by a crowd of sharp-elbowed and feuding Republican lawmakers who can’t agree even on how to do the one thing they all say they want ― repeal Obamacare. But now, there’s a new alpha boy atop their playground monkey bars.

President Donald Trump outdid them all, belittling, bullying and insulting his way to the Oval Office.

Murray is familiar with the personality type.

“There is a bully in every classroom,” Murray said this week. “And the best way to teach other children in your preschool class that it’s not OK is to make it not OK.”

That is precisely what Murray and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) are trying to do. Since there are only 48 senators on their side of the ledger, they lack the votes to beat back Trump and a raft of nominees that Democrats see as historically awful. What they can do is show the country and their Republican colleagues that it’s not OK. Murray is turning out to be Schumer’s deadliest weapon in that fight.

A Republican gave a speech once..and we can quote it over and over..April 16, 1953

President Dwight D. Eisenhower..."Chance for Peace Speech "

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chance_for_Peace_speech

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.
This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter with a half-million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people. . . . This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron...

Sadly..when he left office in 1961...he gave another great speech about the "military industrial complex" and what it stands for...but that one is for another time...

I think that the Republicans are indeed watching Trump..example

http://thehill.com/homenews/senate/319714-mcconnell-trump-makes-own-goals-harder

Mitch McConnell said yesterday, that Trump should remain on topic, and if he did he would be 10 to 15 points higher in standing....Hit the link..see for yourself..Trump has been warned, for all to see, to get it together and stay focused.....

I believe he is being watched.......by his own people...

from the article linked, (The Hill, Feb 15)
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell

(R-Ky.) says President Trump’s public remarks and tweets are complicating his ability to enact his agenda.

“ 10 to 15 points higher if he allowed himself to stay on message,” McConnell told the Weekly Standard Wednesday, referencing Trump’s approval rating. "What he’s saying makes everything harder. harder to achieve what you want to achieve.”

McConnell said he had repeatedly urged Trump to tone down his rhetoric, especially on his Twitter account.
“He doesn’t always take my advice,” he said, noting the president is the “most criticized person in the world.”

He said he does not object to Trump’s tweets but “what you say with the tweet” instead. McConnell said Trump creates a “theater aspect” when he publicly tackles certain issues, creating fodder for the media “on a daily basis.”

The Kentucky senator insisted he has “a really good relationship” with Trump despite his remarks, citing an hour they spent together at the White House last week.

_____________________________________________________________________________________

and added point....paragraph 3...very important.....................................

McConnell said he had repeatedly urged Trump to tone down his rhetoric, especially on his Twitter account. "He doesn’t always take my advice,” he said, noting the president is the “most criticized person in the world.” .....one word stands out..."repeatedly".....

Now, I hate McConnell with a passion...for who he is and what he has done, especially to Obama. Nevertheless, this is an open admission that Trump has been warned about his language and his tone..So, he is being watched by his own....and he was warned,publically.....a day before today's nut job performance..

One more note...added about 50 minutes later.....why watch him and warn him???...because they are thinking what we are...that he is nuts, and needs to be pushed out, at the correct time, if there is one. That is, they are indeed thinking of impeaching him,,,because, yes, he is dangerous..
