Last U.S. Planes have left Afghanistan marking end of U.S. longest war.

(CNN)The last US military planes have left Afghanistan, Gen. Frank McKenzie, the commander of US Central Command, announced Monday at the Pentagon. The US departure marks the end of a fraught, chaotic and bloody exit from the United States' longest war.

"I'm here to announce the completion of our withdrawal from Afghanistan, and the end of the military mission to evacuate American citizens, third country nationals, and vulnerable Afghans," McKenzie told reporters. "The last C-17 lifted off from Hamid Karzai International Airport on August 30th, this afternoon, at 3:29 p.m. East Coast time, and the last manned aircraft is now clearing the airspace above Afghanistan."
"There's a lot of heartbreak associated with this departure," McKenzie said. "We did not get everybody out that we wanted to get out."
President Joe Biden weighed in with a statement later on Monday and thanked the final US forces serving in Afghanistan for executing the "dangerous retrograde from Afghanistan as scheduled," with no further loss of American lives.

Just Got a Scam Phone Call....Somewhat Different..Here Is How that one was different..

...At the end of the phone call...informing me that I had done something illegal with my phone.....

....................The message said...."Press 1, for the next available officer""...........

....................Like I was getting a call from the local police department about something I did.........................

....................Although I hung up immediately, the stupid fools at the other end....didn't know that it was illegal
to pose as a ...".police officer".......in order to carry out a scam phone call....................


THE BOTTOM LINE:......LIKE SO MANY OTHERS, THE FOOLS THAT MADE THE CALL....WERE SURE.......

......................................"THAT THEY WERE GOING TO GET AWAY WITH IT".............................

................ Yes, .it really is that simple....."Sure they were going to get away with it...............

Donald Trump will Never..yes.. NEVER.!!!... Get Elected to Any Position Anywhere...

NEVER....means ...NEVER....sure 25 percent might support him for some election...But 25% is not enough to win any
election...anytime, anywhere or in any world. Why say that?...Trump is a liar, a Con Man, and a Killer, & a
Looser....And that has been proven beyond any doubt..

....Just as important, wealthy Republican sources will not fund him to win another election. While Trump may think that
he will win, as will some politicians, the wealthy sources will not give him a chance. Why say that?

Donald Trump has been proven to be a liar, con man, a killer, and a looser. Do you believe that as I believe that?
How much proof do we need to believe that?...Wealthy Republican sources are not going to throw their money down
the drain. Some people may give Trump some money, but in the end, Donald Trump will not have enough money to even
win a primary election.

...Just one more idea...Over Time Donald Trump has proven that he hates people...Almost all people except those
people who give him money..(Yes that is my opinion on this topic...and I am sticking to it.!!!)

Who remembers ....BLACK AND WHITE TV?...

i remember my family owing an 8 inch black & white TV...I also remember going to a store...and my dad
bought a 21 inch TV..(also in the mid 50s...In today's money that 20 inch black & white TV would be worth about
$1200 to $1500...cost then about $220.00...It was like a piece of furniture..nice wood..large screen for then...
also....I remember hearing that Disneyland in the 50s was in ...color...I didn't see a color TV program (in color)
till the late 50s..

Also in the 50s & early 60s at the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago, they had a telephone section where
...(I did not make this up) ...where you could talk on a phone with someone on the other side of the table, and see
......a picture of their face while talking.!..............I kid you not!!!

I wonder how many "anti-maskers" fail to put on seat belts when they drive...Yes, I know I have

said this out before...but a mask is just as hard to put on as a seat belt. Yes, or No? Am I wrong that death from
from a fatal disease is exactly the same as death from an auto accident?..And both can be prevented in a simple and
easy way...In the early & mid 80s .., we argued about that seat belt thing...No more. We don't argue about that one
any more partly because word got out that many lives were saved by "seat belts"

I wonder if there were any objections to vaccinations of small pox & polio?

...I don't remember objections to the polio vaccine..I wasn't around for small pox when it was active. I say I got the
small pox vaccine when I was young. Also I have read there were no objections to penicillin because it was a ...
"miracle drug". What the hell is wrong with these people? It is not a ..."freedom thing" It is a prevention of death thing. .....Isn't that a good thing?
.....Who are these people listening to?..I know part of it, but not all of it. Looks kind of "ignorant & stupid to me......
......How hard is it to get a couple of shots that prevent death?....Any ideas?
