Florida woman gets more than 4 years in prison for swindling Holocaust survivor out of life savings.

A New York judge has sentenced a Florida woman to more than four years in prison for swindling a Holocaust survivor out of his life savings after meeting him on a dating website.

Peaches Stergo, 36, was sentenced Thursday, according to a news release from the US Attorney's Office of the Southern District of New York. She had been charged six months earlier with one count of wire fraud for bilking the 87-year-old victim out of $2.8 million.

Prosecutors said Stergo and the victim met on the website about seven years ago. Over the next four and a half years, Stergo asked the victim to deposit money into her account for a variety of fraudulent reasons, such as paying lawyers to release a fake injury settlement.

Approximately How Much does it Cost for a Charitable Organization to Send Us A Request For Funds?

Yes, I know someone at Democratic Underground knows the answer to this question. If a charitable organization sends
a request, how much will cover the request? So, if I send five dollars back, it will not cover the request, and ........
maybe........just maybe.....that organization will stop sending me the requests for money...Five dollars or maybe three
dollars? ....I don't know what will work? .... Do you?

I don't know.....Is getting a gun easier than getting a driver's license?

...........I really don't know..............
............But I had to take tests of various kinds, to get a driver's license.
............Driver's Tests, Written tests, photos for driver's license..proof of Identity, etc.
............I have never really tried to buy a gun in any state in the U.S.A.
............ I know that some of us at .Democratic Underground know the answer to this question.
