Biggest laugh of the day (Chachi version):

Hey @MittRomney, beautiful golf courses in Utah......maybe I'll move there, play a few rounds and unseat you. P.S. My wife is still waiting for her $2600 refund. Remember your wife canceled that Beverly Hills political luncheon fundraiser? But your campaign kept the money.

That's some funny shit!

KENOSHA — Kyle Rittenhouse, accused of shooting and killing two people during protests in Kenosha, has been released from jail on bond Friday.

A spokesperson with the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department announced that Rittenhouse's attorney paid the $2 million cash bond that was set by a judge earlier this month.

UPDATE: At least six Michigan Republican lawmakers, including 4 state senators and 2 House members are participating in the trip to the White House:

At least six Michigan Republican lawmakers are participating in the trip to Washington, D.C., for the meeting with Trump, according to sources with knowledge of the plans.

House Speaker Lee Chatfield, R-Levering, and Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey, R-Clarklake, are expected to be joined at the White House by Rep. Jason Wentworth, R-Farwell; Sen. Tom Barrett, R-Charlotte; Sen. Dan Lauwers, R-Brockway Township; and Sen. Aric Nesbitt, R-Lawton, according to sources.

Some of them were included in videos taken at the airport in Washington, D.C., by members of the national media.

Scoop: Trump lawyers to avoid Michigan lawmaker meeting after COVID exposure

Source: Axios

Rudy Giuliani and other key members of President Trump's outside legal team won't be attending today's meeting with two Michigan lawmakers because they've been exposed to the coronavirus, two sources familiar with the internal discussions tell Axios.

Why it matters: This added turmoil inside the president's legal operation comes at a time when the president is urging Republican state lawmakers to interfere with the electoral process and reverse Joe Biden's victory to a Trump win.

"It's just a shitshow, it's a joke," said a Trump campaign adviser.

Behind the scenes: Top Trump campaign officials held a conference call this morning with Eric Herschmann, a lawyer on the White House staff, in which they candidly discussed their legal conundrum.

Trump Has Appointed 2 White Nationalists To Government Roles Since Losing The Election

Since losing his reelection bid earlier this month, President Donald Trump has appointed two men with well-documented white nationalist ties to government roles, raising urgent questions about whether they’ll still have jobs under Democratic President-elect Joe Biden.

Darren J. Beattie, a former White House speechwriter fired in 2018 after it was revealed he’d spoken at a white nationalist conference, announced Wednesday that Trump had appointed him to the Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad.

On Nov. 13, the Trump administration also appointed Jason Richwine — a policy analyst pushed out of a conservative think tank for writing that Mexican and other Latino immigrants have lower IQs than white people — to a senior position at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

“The U.S. government should not be giving posts to people with ties to white nationalists, end of story,” Lecia Brooks, chief of staff at the Southern Poverty Law Center, told HuffPost in a statement. “Under the leadership of the Trump administration, our government has repeatedly demonstrated a willingness to work with or amplify voices from the far-right racist fringe, and they appear willing to do so until the bitter end of the president’s term in office.”
