Didn't know the top of the heap were pushing theocracy but makes sense. The theocrats want restrictive laws like the Sanhedrin did. Easier to control the masses. The RW fundamentalists already have too much influence. They tend to manipulate Scripture in their own weirdness for others but not for themselves. Robertson gets crazier by the year. His own hypocrisy now meshing with his theocracy.
