criticism vs alt lefting

Now, part of the problem with people arguing no and yes is that on both sides of an argument, there are facts that could support either side that cannot just be shouted down, and therefore, unless they are addressed in an honest manner, will never allow the debate to be settled.

Was Hillary the superior choice of 2016, yes. Then again, the Democratic Party simply could not have produce someone as unworthy of the Oval office as Mr. Trump if they TRIED TO.

Did the alt-left have a point about the party doing very shady things to try and make the primary a slamdunk?, yes. Did they go about expressing that in a manner they KNEW was foolhardy and dangerous?, yes. Have both the "my candidate or bust" sides done serious damage to their brands that the GOP is taking full advantage of? YES.

Was there Russian mischief?, oh HELL YES. Did the GOP exploit it, Hell yes. Should we be investigating it, YES. If we fail to, will someone, be it China , Russia, or whoever try it and worse in 2020, YES. Does that mean we should be counting the days until trump is impeached, NO. Is there a lot of stuff totally non russian that we should hang around Tfrump's neck...HELL YES.

DO we ALL need to stoop fighting the election of 2016, and start realzing that as bloody as primaries can be, we need to work together? YES. Does this mean that we will have to work with people who think we are too far left or too far right, and talk until we gave needs seriously addressed, yes.

Are we making steps towards working together...now sadly, that is the big maybe.

OK, while the author was a major Clinton supporter, he showed the arrogance that turned off many people to Clinton (even though SHE would never do anything as stupid as this article describes.) The last thign we need is more damned tax cuts for the rich, especially ones targeted towards Blue states. Geees.

about Blue Dogs

Yes, i realize that the hard blues, like the Joe Manchins, can be sometimes dependent to vote our way. However, that does not stop them from trying to undermine everything we do that is slightly to the right of Ronnie Ray gun, the ACA being a prime example. Do I trust them more than the Greens?, well, they are about 20 percent less likely to backstab in the short run. Do I prefer the Bernie End of the party, mostly, but I am not naive enough to think that large blocks like good old Dixie will even flirt with him (though the midwest might.)

My point is, Blue dogs may have a place, but NOT at the wheel. They need to show they want to be part of a TEAM, and that means give and take, not act like they must be the captain. If their idea of give and take is that the rest of the party gives and they take, then that cannot be allowed to continue, because we will have everything we work for traded away in smoke filled rooms where the gop "friends" offer them expensive cigars!
