In 1976-78, I worked at a small airbrush tee shirt company located on the 2nd floor above a liquor store on the south-east corner of Santa Monica Blvd & El Centro in Hollywood CA.

It was called "TC Custom Airbrushing" and TC (who was rarely present) was a hustler/asshole, but I digress.

Many days, Wild Man Fischer was sitting on the corner, kinda sorta begging.

Sometimes he would sing "my name is Larry."

He survived after I stopped working at that location, and he had a continuing very strange career in music until his passing, as it turned out.
