Here's a couple of (old) tunes from my band Benedict Arnold & The Traitors...

...Ode To Mother Nature/Trash The Environment and We Didn't Put Out The Fire.

Our song "Moment Of Silence (Duet)" has been selected...

...to be in a movie soundtrack, as long as they are able to find the appropriate scene(s) in which to include it. They want me to send them the wav file so they can play around with it. The movie is described as "apocalyptic."

What I did not know, until I looked into the music production company closer, is that this is a Christian movie, and the "apocalypse" is probably an "end-times/return of jeebus" kind of thing.

We'd get a healthy several-thousands-of-dollars payout plus whatever results from having the song before a wider, albeit Christian, audience and the resultant publicity, for better or worse, that may follow.

Being a person of no religion, and not being a fan of "end times prophecies," I am somewhat reluctant to go through with the project, assuming they find the scene(s) for inclusion.

So far though, I'm leaning towards "let's do it" because I like the money thing, it's a great motivator.

What would YOU do?

For those who have not heard it, here's a youtube link:
