If an Atheist is judged

By the actions of a few (Christopher Hitchens, misinterpretation of Dawkins, etc) then why is is not OK for Christians to be judged by the actions of, say Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron (though there are multitudes to choose from).

Just a thought that came to me in the shower.
