Regarding the South, have some of you lost your minds and as well as your ethics?

I am specifically talking about a thread and certain posts that are in gray at the bottom.

Have you actually read it and do you hear what you are endorsing?
Do you really support bashing up the South good enough and turning it black and blue?

And "FINISH HIM!" What the hell does that mean? There is no HIM. This is NOT Mortal Kombat.

You are not calling for justice in supporting this. You are calling for Old Testament vengeance. The collateral damage must not concern you if you are going to bash up the South. It is not possible to pick out every one who deserves it and blast them without hitting others.

I have never been so astounded, shocked, and disappointed. For all of your caveats about 'we don't mean you', it appears you will gladly smack every Southerner on DU if you support this thinking. If you had told me I would read this on a site called Democratic Underground and that it would be supported, I would never have believed it.

Many valid points have been made. However, there is no way to understand them through this blatant blast of hate.

And congratulations, you have now lowered yourself to the level of the haters down here. With your support for this approach, you are all standing in slime and throwing it at each other.

You cannot destroy the South metaphorically or otherwise without destroying the nation.

Go for me now. I no longer believe there are any limits to what people believe and will say here. Democratic my ass!

HALIFAX - A Native anti-fracking protest turned violent Thursday after RCMP moved in to break up a standoff, with protesters hit with rubber bullets and pepper spray and then retaliating by torching cop cars.

Mounties were trying to enforce an Oct. 3 court injunction against the standoff near Rexton, where SWN Resources Canada is testing for shale gas.
