Hillary I don’t think taxpayers should be paying to send Donald Trump’s kids to college.

Hillary Clinton dissed Sen. Bernie Sanders' (I-VT) proposal to make college free for all Americans by noting that taxpayers should not have to pay to send Donald Trump's children to college.

Sanders has long pushed for free tuition at state colleges and universities, but Clinton on Saturday said that students at those schools should just be able to graduate debt-free.

“I believe that we should make community college free. We should have debt-free college if you got to a public college or university. You should not have to borrow a dime to pay tuition," Clinton said. "I disagree with free college for everybody. I don’t think taxpayers should be paying to send Donald Trump’s kids to college."

Disclaimer attached to online debate poll

A disclaimer: Online reader polls like this one are not statistically representative of eligible primary voters. They are a measure, however imprecise, of which candidates have the most energized online supporters, or most social media savvy fan base. After all, what they are counting is the number of Internet-devices controlled by people who want to vote.

I want to thank Bernie for agreeing to revisit gun manufacturer liability.

Tonight he said he was willing to take another look at the issue. I look forward to his possible support for holding gun manufactures and gun stores accountable for their death peddling.

CNN: Sanders campaign grumbled over debate format changes

A call with all three Democratic campaigns, CBS and members of the Democratic National Committee about how to address the terrorist attacks in Paris quickly turned contentious Saturday over those specific changes.

An aide to Bernie Sanders "threw a fit" when CBS informed the campaigns in a conference call Saturday that the Democratic debate would kick off with a focus on the attacks in Paris, a person who was on the call told CNN.

"Once CBS informed the campaigns the debate was going to kick off with a focus on the attacks in Paris last night, he (Mark Longabaugh, a Sanders strategist) completely lost it. He threw a fit for several minutes," the source said.

But a DNC debate coordinator tells CNN that the argument on the call earlier Saturday was not about whether the debate would focus on Paris, adding that it is unfair to say Sanders' campaign did not want to debate foreign policy.

"What happened was that we have had the format of the debate finalized for several weeks," the coordinator said. "CBS wanted to get rid of the opening statements and start with a 30-second answer on Paris," the coordinator said. "It was never a conversation of whether we talk about foreign policy or not. They just wanted a longer opening comment."

But according to the source on the call, Longabaugh argued that "this wasn't part of the deal. It shouldn't be allowed. It wasn't advertised as a foreign policy debate and it's turning into a debate it wasn't supposed to be."

Reporter on MSNBC: Sanders Campaign went "ballistic" over change in opening topic to Paris

If Sanders can't pivot during a debate to address an international incident, how can he handle multiple foreign and domestic priorities as President?

Bernie Sanders Stumbles on Paris Question

As anticipated, the Democratic debate began with a heavy focus on the horrific terrorist attack in Paris on Friday.

After the candidates, positioned in front of patriotic Microsoft Paint graphic, stood in a moment of silence for the lives lost in the violence yesterday, each was given the opportunity to speak for one minute about the atrocity.

Bernie Sanders, who often fumbles the ball when not discussing domestic economic issues, was first up to bat. In a miscalculated move, arriving just hours after reports surfaced that Sanders' aides were upset that the debate would now focus heavily on foreign policy, the senator from Vermont shifted from discussing the bloodbath in France to delivering his token economic stump speech.

“Well, John, let me concur with you and with all Americans who are shocked and disgusted by what we saw in Paris yesterday,” Sanders began, addressing moderator John Dickerson. “Together, leading the world, this country will rid our planet of this barbaric organization called ISIS.”

“I’m running for president because as I go around this nation, I talk to a lot of people, and what I hear is people's concern that the economy we have is a rigged economy,” Sanders said, seemingly from rote memory.

I did learn one thing tonight.

I support Hillary to the end, but if Martin O'Malley should get the nomination, I can rest easy at night knowing he could handle the role of President and Commander in Chief.

Did Sanders just give into the meme

About a higher minimum wage costing jobs? "Negative consequences"?

Wow Sanders blew off the opening question terrorism

I guess we have no need to worry about, then.
