DLCC Nevada recall update

We've already defeated one recall attempt in Nevada, against Senator Patricia Farley. But we still have two more left to go.

In Senator Joyce Woodhouse's district, our coalition has collected thousands of revocation forms from Nevadans who were misled during the petition collection process and now wish to remove their signatures from the recall. Organizers are working day and night to ensure that every single revocation form is fairly counted.

Meanwhile, Republicans turned in a second set of petition signatures, against Senator Nicole Cannizzaro. Every signature is being reviewed to detect fraudulent petitions, and there's a lot at stake: this recall could come down to just a few names.

But with both these fights happening at once, it's all hands on deck. Nicole, Joyce, and our staff and volunteers have been knocking doors and doing the work to make sure every voter knows about the shady tactics Republicans are using – and what's at stake. But they need to know you have their backs.

Flynn is rolling over on Trump

“Lawyers for Michael Flynn, President Trump’s former national security adviser, notified the president’s legal team in recent days that they could no longer discuss the special counsel’s investigation, according to four people involved in the case, an indication that Mr. Flynn is cooperating with prosecutors or negotiating such a deal,” the New York Times reports.

“Mr. Flynn’s lawyers had been sharing information with Mr. Trump’s lawyers about the investigation by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, who is examining whether anyone around Mr. Trump was involved in Russian efforts to undermine Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.”
