I really did see this coming.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump called Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton "disloyal" for throwing rival Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) "under the bus."

Clinton's campaign accused Sanders' campaign of stealing millions of dollars worth of voter information on Friday. The situation exploded so much so that the Democratic party barred Sanders from accessing its voter information, a decision it later rescinded.

The silver lining for Hillary supporters in 'Datagate'

We're awake now. We see how shameless, the Sander campaign and they online followers are in blustering their way out of a bad situation. We also see now that "It's ok if You Are a Republican" has been replaced by "It's ok If You Are Bernie". We're vigilant, we're energized and at I am now motivated to contribute to Hillary for the first time since she announced her candidacy. Thanks, guys.

I guess Bernie shares one thing in common with Trump.

When in trouble, just bluster your way out of it.

New Hampshire poll has race neck and neck.

On the Democratic side, Sanders’ double-digit lead has nearly evaporated and he tops Clinton only by a 48-46 percent margin — within the margin of error in the poll of 410 likely Democratic primary voters in the Granite State....

On the Democratic side, Clinton appears to have benefitted from Vice President Joe Biden leaving the race and overwhelming voter perception that she is going to be the Democratic nominee.

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley remains mired at 2 percent support.

“I think there’s a little bit more inevitability,” Myers said.

Both Sanders and Clinton are viewed favorably by well over 80 percent of likely Democratic primary voters. The poll's margin of error is 4.7 percent for the Republicans and 4.8 percent for the Democrats.

The voter data is rented, not owned, by the campaigns.

To punish the Sanders campaign for the breach, the DNC said the campaign could not have access to the party’s voter data. (The Sanders campaign fired a staffer involved in viewing the Clinton data, but said the punishment was unwarranted.)..

The “our data” phrasing by the Sanders team might seem antithetical to the idea that campaigns essentially rent the DNC’s list for their purposes, but there are a couple of categories of data the Sanders team would be dealing with in the NGP VAN system. The big kahuna, the voter file that the firm has had a contract to manage since 2007, is the property of the DNC. Campaigns gather information from voters that serve to enrich this file — who a caller says they’ll vote for or whether a landline number is dead are seen as valuable tidbits — and they agree to update the system after the campaign so that future candidates can use it.

The Sander's campaign would be stupid to go to court

The fired data director is on his third different explanation. He's an attorney's nightmare.

Bernie is bernt toast

The last thing you do when running for POTUS is sue your party after firing your campaign staffer for probing another campaign's proprietary data AND SAVING IT.. This is worse than Amatuer Hour.

I guess Sanders staffers are too young to think about Watergate.

Because the beginning of the end came with the break-in.

FOUR Sanders campaign user accounts were used to search Clinton campaign data.

The decision by the party committee is a major blow to Mr. Sanders’s campaign. The database includes information from voters across the nation and is used by campaigns to set strategy, especially in the early voting states.

The breach occurred after a software problem at the technology company NGP VAN, which gives campaigns access to the voter data. The problem inadvertently made proprietary voter data of Mrs. Clinton’s campaign visible to others, according to party committee officials.

The Sanders campaign said that it had fired a staff member who breached Mrs. Clinton’s data. But according to three people with direct knowledge of the breach, there were four user accounts associated with the Sanders campaign that ran searches while the security of Mrs. Clinton’s data was compromised.
