Seriously, my hat off to the Sanders campaign.
I didn't see it coming though I should have, I think the biggest problem, in hindsight, was polling a primary when there hadn't been a contested Democratic primary there since 1992. Also in hindsight, it should have been too surprising as Jesse jackson won the Michigan caucus in 1988.
