A man was left unable to have sex, after injecting his penis with Vaseline.

24-year-old Szilveszter had been unhappy with the size of his penis – and made the injections in order to try and lengthen it on a friend’s recommendation.

However, the Vaseline swelled his penis enormously, leaving doctors to have to “skin it like a banana” in order to prevent further damage.

He told Extreme Beauty Disasters, on TLC: “I said to my friend I want to lose weight as I think my penis is small. He said you don’t need to lose weight, I can help you. My friend injected in my penis Vaseline. Afterwards I was happy as it looked bigger.”

However, after the penis began to painfully swell, he had to seek medical treatmwent.

Florida Man hospitalized after attempt to kiss venomous snake

WIMAUMA, Fla., April 22 (UPI) -- A Florida man is recovering from a cottonmouth snake bite to his lip after he allegedly tried to smooch the serpent on the mouth.

Hillsborough County sheriff's deputies said Austin Hatfield, 18, captured the 4-foot cottonmouth, also known as a water moccasin, while swimming last week and kept it in a pillowcase at his girlfriend's house, where he was bitten on the lip.

Friends told investigators Hatfield was trying to kiss the snake when it struck him.

Hatfield was initially hospitalized in critical condition, but his status was upgraded to good condition and officials said he is expected to make a full recovery.

Rumor: Marvel Studios planning mini-series for Muslim-American superhero.

ABC may be developing a show based on the recent breakout hit Ms. Marvel.

According to a since-removed Reddit post (via ComicBookMovie), ABC is canceling the low-rated American Crime, but still wishes to work with creator John Ridley (an Oscar winner for his screenplay for 12 Years a Slave), hence their recent deal with him for a new Marvel-based series. The rumor says Kamala Khan caught his eye and is the character he's moving forward with. The show would purportedly focus mostly on her obsession with superheroes, and cultural issues like Islamaphobia. That way it would slowly ease her into being a superhero, without necessarily needing Captain Marvel to serve as Kamala's inspiration, given the Captain Marvel is still years away.

The rumor goes on to state that the Kamala Khan show would act as the winter bridge between the fall and spring runs of Agents of SHIELD, making it a shorter run series, like Agent Carter. The Ridley project is not believed to be the also in development SHIELD spin-off.

It may be wise to take the news with a grain of salt, however. The Reddit user claims to have inside knowledge of Marvel dealings, but has not produced any documentation or other information to verify it.

Republicans are dead wrong about what's putting the family at risk.

It's not movies or video games or someone's marriage. It's an economy that makes one have to choose between spending time with with their family or providing for it. And that choice is becoming more mutually exclusive every day.

Conservative city councilwoman caught slapping 6-year-old special needs student’s face

A 62-year-old Des Moines, Washington city councilwoman, former state legislator and King County Superior Court judge is in hot water after cameras caught her slapping the face of a 6-year-old special needs student.

According to Seattle’s Fox Q13, Jeanette Burrage — who is now a bus-driver for the Highline School District — is facing charges of 4th degree assault in connection with the incident, which took place on March 10.

King County Sheriff’s Sgt. B.J. Myers said that police responded to a call on that day regarding a disturbance on a school bus. There was no indication at the time that an assault had occurred, but when school district officials reviewed the video footage, they saw and heard Burrage slap the student during an altercation.

School district employees reported the incident to Seattle-Tacoma Police on March 18 after reviewing the video.

Should we disqualify politicians who had to "evolve" on marriage equality?

It's only recently that I heard about Hillary's difficult interview with Terry Gross on Clinton's "evolution" on marriage eaqaulty and I think about my journey. I grew up in a Midwestern, fundamentalist Christian household where the only reaction to the 1989 San Francisco earthquake was that it was "God sending a message about those gays". And, as an impressionable kid, my opinion mirrored those of my parents. But I grew up, went to college, got a job, moved to California, got another job, met my life partner, had a kid and here I am today. Am I disqualified? Sometimes we forget, or some of us may not even old enough to realize, how far the country really has come. We gone from clubs being raided by police in the 70's to where the national Republicans are even conceding that marriage equality will no longer be an issue. I hope we are mature enough to cut our pro-LGBT politicians some slack.
