My take on the Duggar family news.

I am not going to guess what was in 14-year old Josh Duggar's heart and mind when he sexually molested his younger sisters. Was it malice? Was it a kid growing up having no idea what he was feeling (I somehow doubt dad sat anyone dow for "the talk&quot and what was appropriate conduct?. And, not knowing this, it is hard for me to put the full burden on Josh. Father Sean, however, is a different matter. Yes, he called the police, but happened after that? After the officer (whose boss likely had ties to the family) gave him a "talking to", the family's solution was to send him off to a relative's house instead of taking him to a counselor who would have been ethically bound to respect their client's confidenrtiality. THAT is the most toxic element of the story. And what about the sisters? Did they have anyone to talk to besides their warped parent? Somehow I don't think so. And is what makes the Duggars and their allies so sinister.

Virginia cop uses pepper-spray, Taser on unresisting black man having stroke

Saying he did nothing wrong, a Virginia police officer resigned from the Fredricksburg Police Department after body-cam video showed him using his Taser, and then pepper-spray, on an unresponsive black man sitting in his car.

According to the WHOP, 34-year-old David Washington was having a stroke at the time of the incident.

The officer, Shaun Jurgens, resigned from the city police department on May 14, and was one of three officers who responded when the disoriented Washington drove the wrong way on a street before stopping in an intersection.

In the video, Jurgens is seen walking up to Washington’s car and using his Taser on him, without warning, as he sits at the wheel of his car staring forward.

Josh Duggar's Investigation Record Destroyed on Thursday By Arkansas Police

Investigation records tied to Josh Duggar's alleged sexual molestation of five girls have been destroyed by Arkansas police, a spokesperson told The Associated Press Friday.

Springdale Police spokesman Scott Lewis told AP that Judge Stacey Zimmerman ordered the 2006 offense report destroyed Thursday.

"The judge ordered us yesterday to expunge that record," Lewis said. He added that similar records are usually kept indefinitely. "As far as the Springdale Police Department is concerned this report doesn't exist."

The 27-year-old married father of three resigned from his lobbyist position with the Family Research Council (FRC) on Thursday after reports surfaced that the 19 Kids and Counting star sexually molested five girls as far back as 2002, when Duggar was 14 years old.

New threats target Texas police after Waco biker brawl

Texas law enforcement officials are investigating what they say are new threats against officers from biker gangs in the wake of a recent shootout in Waco.

Members of the Bandidos biker gang who are in the military “are supplying the gang with grenades and C4 explosives,” according to a bulletin issued Thursday by the Texas Department of Public Safety and reviewed by CNN.

The bulletin warns of plots targeting high-ranking law enforcement officials and their families with car bombs. The bulletin is based on unsubstantiated information from an informant who claimed to have obtained it from Bandidos and Black Widows motorcycle gang members.

The Bandidos want to retaliate against police for shooting “their brothers” as they came out of the Twin Peaks restaurant, the bulletin says.

Obama's New Personal Twitter Account Meets Wave Of Racist Tweets

Hate on the Internet is nothing new, but the racist tweets sent personally to President Barack Obama over the past week may qualify as some kind of breakthrough.

After the President created his own personal account @POTUS on Monday — distinct from @WhiteHouse, which is run by staff — it took mere minutes before hordes of racist users sent him tweets targeting his race and appearance.

"Welcome to Twitter, nigger," one user wrote. Many followed in kind: some added adjectives like "tree-swinging," while still others edited photos to depict Obama as the victim of a lynching.

Several other users called the President "black monkey," one instructing him to "get back in your cage."

The New York Times reported that neither White House officials nor a Twitter spokesman could provide the exact number of racist tweets that made their way to the commander-in-chief.

Wingnut blogosphere trying to call Waco biker gathering a "political meeting".

Despite the characterization by police that the afternoon gathering at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas that led to Sunday’s bloody shooting incident was a gathering of criminal biker gangs with violent intent, the meeting appears to have been a legitimate, organized gathering of motorcycle riders meeting to discuss political issues.

The group that met was the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents (CoC&I) and a look at that group’s website and history gives a very different impression of the group’s purpose and goals than what has been said repeatedly by Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton.

Swanton has been a central media figure, conducting several press conferences since shootings that left nine dead and dozens injured happened on Sunday. Swanton’s statements have been echoed by the media, creating an image of a get together of thugs converging on Twin Peaks in an event obviously fraught with danger that authorities tried desperately to stop until they were foiled by the uncooperative restaurant owner.

The “gathering of criminal bikers” story was even used to justify the $1 million bail that the 170 arrested bikers were each handed.

Duggar sibling sexually assaulted sisters, another female, according to police report

A 2006 police report obtained by In Touch Weekly magazine revealed that one of the Duggar siblings, of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting," allegedly sexually assaulted four female siblings in the large family, plus an additional female victim.

According to the gossip site, the sibling who assaulted the sisters is Josh Duggar. The incidents date back to 2002 when Josh Duggar would have been 14 years old. In the 33-page police report that FOX411 viewed, the name of the Duggar family members in question are redacted throughout.

The report states that Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar then learned that multiple incidents like this had occurred. Jim Bob told police, when he was interviewed in 2006, that the Duggars sent their son to a Christian program at the advice of their church elders. However, later in the report Michelle Duggar states where their son was sent was "not really a training center," rather he was sent to stay with an acquaintance and do manual labor.

Arkansas Police Fatally Shoot Man Cuffed In Patrol Car

CABOT, Ark. (AP) — A handcuffed parolee who had been frisked opened fire on law enforcement officers from the back of a patrol car, according to an Arkansas Corrections official, provoking a return of gunfire that left the man dead.

It was not clear if he was carrying a gun when he was cuffed, and the corrections official said officers had not found a gun on him. The Arkansas State Police is investigating the shooting.

Corrections and Lonoke County sheriff's officers had been looking for an unrelated suspect Tuesday night in Cabot, which is about 25 miles northeast of Little Rock, when they searched Jonathan McIntosh at a home and discovered he was in possession of a white powder, said Dina Tyler, deputy director of the Arkansas Department of Community Correction. ADCC officers were assisting because the original suspect had outstanding warrants.

Authorities didn't find a gun on McIntosh, who was on parole for a firearm possession conviction, Tyler said.
