A boy with Down syndrome was sexually assaulted in a BART station bathroom Saturday night, police say.

A man followed the juvenile into the bathroom at the Pittsburg Station and allegedly molested the boy, whose mother was waiting outside the bathroom and called police for help. The boy was taken to Kaiser Hospital in Vallejo.

The suspect, who was not identified, was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on suspicion of committing lewd acts on a child, according to a BART police report.

San Francisco Tattoo Shop Owner Harassed After Being Mistakenly ID’d as Trump Supporter

A Mission District tattoo shop owner says he is in the midst of a political firestorm after being mistakenly identified as a Donald Trump supporter.

Political views have turned dangerous for the San Francisco man, who requested to remain anonymous. He said that someone tossed a rock through his store’s window, smashing it.

The business owner has been struggling with vandalism for the month, but said he does not support Trump – his boyfriend does.

Other Bay Area voters are also frustrated. They say they're losing the right to have an opinion, in fear of retaliation.
It “really ticks me off,” said Sharon Fraetis, a Hillary Clinton supporter.

The Lafayette woman was targeted in just the latest in a series of troubling incidents during the final weeks of the 2016 election cycle.

Someone pulled down Clinton signs from her house.

My tiny brain finally grasps what likely happened.

Huma checked her work email from home like I do all the time (and trying to stop at the urging of my Dr.), only whereas I use an online viewer, she used Outlook or Exchange. Thus, the emails on the laptop are likely tge same emails the FBI already checked. Am I right?

Florida Latinos and NPA who skipped 2012 are flocking to polls

The story of the election in Florida thus far is that No Party Affiliates and Hispanics who sat out (or who’ve registered since the 2012 General Election) appear to be much more engaged in the Florida election than other partisan or racial/ethnic groups.

Over 1/3 NPAs — 33.7% — who’ve already voted (EIP or VBM) in Florida through yesterday, Saturday October 29, did not cast a ballot in the Sunshine State in 2012.

In contrast, only 18.2% of Republicans who’ve voted thus far didn’t vote in 2012; 1/5 Democrats who’ve voted EIP or ABS through yesterday sat out 2012.

So, although overall numbers through the first six days of EIP (and months-long VBM ballots coming in) aren’t looking terribly robust for Democrats–they’re down 23.5k votes to Republicans — it appears that they are mobilizing a larger share of “new” voters.

The Republican lead thus far, on the other hand, is being floated by disproportionately by likely voters, that is, those who voted in the 2012 General Election. Republicans are also cannibalizing 2012 Election Day voters at a higher rate than Democrats: 18.7% of the 1.51m Republicans who’ve voted thus far in Florida waited in 2012 to cast a ballot on Election Day; 16.8% of the 1.43m Democrats who’ve voted to date voted on Election Day four years ago.

Kellyanne Conway FINALLY finds a "deplorable" Trump supporter.

Donald Trump’s campaign manager on Sunday forcefully disavowed a supporter as “deplorable” for chanting “Jew-S-A!” at a weekend rally, the latest incident of anti-Semitic rhetoric used by some of the GOP nominee’s backers.

“[The man’s] conduct is completely unacceptable and does not reflect our campaign or our candidate. Wow,” Kellyanne Conway said during an interview on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “That man’s conduct was deplorable. And had I been there, I would have asked security to remove him immediately.”

The Saturday afternoon incident in Phoenix, which was captured on video, revived long-standing anxieties about xenophobic and white supremacist rhetoric used by a fringe faction within the GOP nominee’s base. An unidentified man confronted reporters at the rally with shouts and a three-fingered hand gesture that resembled hate symbols flagged by the Anti-Defamation League.

“You’re going down! You’re the enemy!” the man yelled. As the rest of the crowd broke into a chant of “USA! USA!,” the man repeatedly chanted, “Jew-S-A! Jew-S-A!”
