My mom would have turned 80 years old today

She was born in Frankfurt, Germany 10 months after Hitler took power. Hitler made the children leave the cities during World War II she walked for miles in the winter of 1943 through the snow and got frost bite on her leg. Later with the change of hormones during her pregnancy she had to have her leg amputated with just local anesthetic in order to save her unborn child (me) because that frost bite triggered gangrene. She emigrated with her son to the US made her citizenship and then encouraged me to make mine. She never missed an election and never once voted for a Republican. She died at 51 one years of age from ovarian cancer still encouraging others to vote and work for a liberal platform!!!

I was watching a documentary last night called "Blackfish" about killer whales who were preforming at SeaWorld. Those poor animals, being caged like that and manipulated like that. And the way they put their employees in danger! It's so fucked up.

now there are several angles to this...one was there even a historical person named Jesus who was born of a virgin birth, performed miracles and was politically crucified, died and arose on the third day....
next question if he was born of a virgin...was that a real birth? Was Jesus even born?

I remember when the Democrats dared question Bush and cronies about the fallacy of the Iraq war we were told to leave the country. When Dick Cheney flipped Patrick Leahy, nothing happened, but when Howard Dean screamed it was the end of the world. When Rep. Joe Wilson yelled "you lie" no house action was taken. When MoveOn made fun of warmonger David Petreaus (spelling?) the media nearly fell apart.

Why doesn't the fucking MSM report on that?

the key word here is PRIVATE for profit. NEVER privatize a government responsibility be that at the federal, state or local. Fucking business will just do the cheapest job for the highest buck.
