Weird Weather Forecast

I went to weather.com to check the conditions today and something strange is going on.

It's partly in German.

The line where you can see hourly and for the next ten day forecasts reads
Heute Stündlich 5 Tage 10 Tage Wochenende Monatlich Karten

There's more:

There's a Lokale Pollenwarnung (pollen warning, as if I didn't know)

Today's gefülte is 58 degrees.

Jetzt conditions are Feuchte 59%, Taupunkt 44 degrees, Luftdruck 29.89 and rising, Sichweite 10.0 mi.

The Nächste 36 Stunden shows Today 68, Tonight 54, DO 80, DO Nacht 61, and FR 87 (these are obviously Fahrenheit temps, starting off in English then switching to German).

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Are they having fun with me because I refuse to turn off the adblocker?

This Is My First Time Seeing It

Let me add these wise words by Lawrence O'Donnell:

What did Liberals do that was so offensive to the Republican Party?
I'll tell you what they did. Liberals got women the right to vote.
Liberals got African Americans the right to vote.
Liberals created Social Security and lifted millions of elderly people out of poverty.
Liberals ended segregation.
Liberals passed the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act.
Liberals created Medicare.
Liberals passed the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act.

What did Conservatives do?
They opposed them on every one of those things, every one. So when you try to hurl that label at my feet, "Liberal," as if it were something to be ashamed of, something dirty, something to run away from, it won't work, because I will pick up that label and I will wear it as a badge of honor.

This Song Cracks Me Up Every Time

Hallelujah Parody - Letter to Wayne LaPierre, NRA

Good lines and great harmony.

Note: I have no connection (except a 3rd on LinkedIn) to this guy. I just think he deserves to be seen and heard.

A Song about the Parkland Massacre

Usually Parody Project does funny songs, but this one is properly serious and respectful. It is based on Shakira's Illegal and is called The Country's Heart (The Parkland Eulogy).

I have no connection to the people who do Parody Project, but I think they deserve links and likes.

Is Anyone Going to Sunday's Event at Sam Boyd Stadium?

I Have to Repair My Washing Machine - Yaay!

Lucky me!

Water fills just fine and doesn't leak. The spin cycle goes with no problem. It just won't agitate. It hums very loudly instead.

So, according to the sites I googled, it needs a V-Style drive belt and somebody to change it. The sites also said that it has to be changed every 2 - 3 years, depending on how much washing you do. My washer is about 9 years old, so I got away with it for longer than most.

I'm not scared. I installed my dishwasher and put in new faucets (hubby is claustrophobic and his shoulders are too big to fit under the sink). I've been putting together furniture since before Ikea was a thing. Coworkers check with me before calling IT to fix a printer jam. So I can do this.

Has anyone else done this kind of thing? Any horror stories, tips. or things to watch out for?
