I thought Hillary Clinton did really well in the debate last night.
Then I remembered that you can't believe a fucking thing she says.
So grave-dancing is OK, noting that a grave-dancer is on timeout is not? WTF?
Grave dancer is on time out

REASON FOR ALERT
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.
ALERTER'S COMMENTS
Complains about gravedancing but enjoys dancing over a time out. This is hypocrisy of the highest order. Please hide.
JURY RESULTS
A randomly-selected Jury of DU members completed their review of this alert at Sun Dec 20, 2015, 10:33 AM, and voted 4-3 to HIDE IT.
Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: NOOOO!!!
Juror #3 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Gloating about a person's "time out" is unseemly, and doing it in a protected group where others can be excluded from the discussion is worse. This should be hidden, regardless of who the poster is.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Lol. No dice, alerter.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Had just about enough of OS and his hypocrisy.
Juror #6 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: I agree with the person who alerted, this simple hypocrisy
Juror #7 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: The grave dancing the poster is talking about are members who have been banned. Steve is just pointing out the fact this member is now on a time out. He shows now joy or excitement like the person on a time out. This is such a weak alert, it in itself should be alerted on.
If this gets hidden, so be it. I've very rarely had a post hidden but this hypocrisy is too much for me.
What social science tells us about racism in the Republican party
So Republicans are a bunch of racist pricks. Who knew?

"There's a good deal of evidence that white resentment of minorities is linked to support for Republican candidates, their policies and conservative ideology in America," said Robb Willer, a political psychologist at Stanford University.

As the country has become more diverse, the Democratic Party has, too. But the demographics of the Republican Party have not changed much in recent years, according to Gallup. As of 2012, 89 percent Republicans were non-Hispanic whites, compared to 60 percent of Democrats. Nearly three quarters of Hispanic and Asian voters and fully 93 percent of black voters cast ballots in favor of President Obama in 2012, according to Washington Post exit polls.
Research has shown that voters who favor Republicans are more likely to hold racial biases against people of color. For instance, nearly one in five Republicans opposes interracial dating, compared to just one in 20 Democrats, according to the Pew Research Center.

Menards, Under Fire, Backs Down from Threat to Managers Over Unionization
http://www.progressive.org/news/2015/12/188462/menards-under-fire-backs-down-threat-managers-over-unionizationThe article quoted a legal expert who said the provision may make Menards vulnerable to a complaint alleging violations of the National Labor Relations Act, which states that an employer may not interfere with, restrain, or coerce employees in the exercise of their rights to form a union.
...
Goldstein, in an interview, said hes not surprised, now that sunshine has been put on this, that [Menards has] backpedaled." But he added that the NLRB needs to make sure that the provision has indeed been removed. I dont really trust this company.
And while removing this language would end the violation going forward, Goldstein said it is apparently still in effect now: As we speak, these contracts are still there for 2015, so the unlawful contact is still continuing. He hopes to still press forward with his additional complaints.
